My name is Chelsea, and I would like to know if I have a chance with this guy named Joel. He's younger than me, by a year at most. I've only talked to him a few times, but he seems like a really nice person. I'm not sure of his birthday, but mine is 7/28/91. I would love it if someone could help me out with this. Thank you!

Dear Chelsea,

I am assuming here that Joel is not the same person whom you broke up with earlier this month (am I correct).

If Joel is your next boyfriend, then my feelings are that the communication problems you were experiencing with your previous relationship basically have not changed much. Do not be too hard upon yourself for feeling a little shy or lacking in both confidence and life experience at your age, as it would I feel be most unusual if you did not feel this way at times.

Without having his exact date of birth I am presently unable to use numerology in order to offer you a compatibility rating with Joel, and even if I could I very much doubt it is going to be able to tell you anything new which you do not already know all too well. He seems like a very nice person from what you have said in your request, but without being able to give a third party reading directly about him (not allowed on this site), I cannot tell just how much he returns your obvious feelings of affection for him.

You have talked with him on several occasions, but until you talk about some of the things which are important to each of you (beyond the usual friendly greetings and questions about the weather which can begin a friendship), you will not know whether these communication difficulties are going to be a major problem, or whether instead they are going to be a minor irritation.

I generally do not like to make any predictions concerning relationships, as there are so many potential factors that could suddenly throw a spanner in the works, that I would not like to make a solid bet either way.

I could not agree more with these sentiments. Relationships often involve some of the most confusing, frustrating and challenging lessons we will ever be expected to deal with as spiritual and human beings.
