I feel that I am coming through a huge shift and whereas this is exciting it is scarey as the ground is no longer solid and everything is still up in the air. I feel my whole life is changing and I would love some insight as to what I'm to do in the next phase of my lifepath.
My DOB is 20th Sept., 1958. Thank you so much. You can be as blunt as you like and I will give you honest feedback.

I prefer being as honest as possible about the insights I am being asked to pass on to you, rather than always being necessarily blunt.

Your date of birth (thanks for that) shows me that your Life Path (LPN) or Destiny number using numerology is SEVEN.

The following are the general characteristics most commonly associated with people having an LPN of 7.

Seven has always been regarded as a primarily spiritual number throughout the ages, so people walking this life path are often spiritual seekers of the truth to the extreme. They are frequently clear, analytical thinkers with an above average ability to concentrate for extended periods, who are intensely interested in investigating the unknown and exploring the deeper mysteries of life.

While much of their thinking is abstract or of a highly theoretical nature which may make people close to them feel completely inadequate in being unable to understand exactly what they are talking about, they do not spend all their time with their heads in the clouds and they do not take nonsense from anyone else too lightly. In other words, they are always practical and highly focussed on whatever they are doing at the time, to the point that anything else is believed to be a waste of their valuable time and energies.

It is unfortunately often also a part of the typical LPN 7 type of personality that they will set exceptionally high standards for themselves in the way in which they behave at all times. They tend to believe that if something is worth doing, then they are the only ones who can do it well (in their case well equals perfect on the first attempt). The LPN 7 is often unwilling to delegate responsibility or share the work load amongst others who may work under them.

By first setting such unrealistically high standards for themselves, then beating up on themselves when they are unable to maintain these at every attempt, they leave themselves open to being constantly disappointed with life in general, and with greatly reduced self confidence. The LPN 7 person is highly creative, and is often to be found doing research and trying to fit together the pieces of an intellectual puzzle.

One possible downside of their intense powers of concentration is that by doing so they often miss the bigger picture, and they consequently need to take time out from their spiritual studies now and then to consider the problem from a higher viewpoint or another person's independent perspective. They often tend to miss the forest for the trees? They focus on each individual element, often at the expense of appreciating the overall pattern?

The typical LPN 7 is a bit of a loner, in that he needs to spend increasing periods of time deep in contemplation, without the intrusion of other people and their thoughts. While it would be wrong to say that they are antisocial or dislike people as such, their need for constant solitude does make forming and maintaining close personal relationships difficult at best, and impossible at worst.

Actually if they are only be willing to relax and devote some time to themselves and their personal life every now and then to let themselves go, the LPN 7 can be both quite likeable and even the life of the party. While it would be pointless to suggest to this person that they should entirely give up on what they believe is most important in life (their spiritual search for truth), they do need to balance this with some socialising, with the purpose of developing a more well rounded personality.

With their outstanding abilities to learn, analyse, and seek out answer's to life's important questions, they share the potential for enormous growth and success in lives. It is vital however to their health and happiness that they do not allow other equally important areas of the life to be sacrificed for the sake of continuing their search for personal meaning and purpose.

Since it is believed by many spiritually minded people that we enter upon a new and significant phase of our lives every multiple of 7 years, you are most likely as you have already suggested on the threshold of great personal change. Hi EOT, Thank you so much for your reading. You're bang on the button. I currently feel that my whole life is topsyturvy and that i'm being realigned in some profound way. I'm aware of needing integration. It feels that everything I do and who I am is actually different and my whole approach needs to take this shift on board. I am beginning to see how hugely arrogant and impatient I am. Humility and surrender are incredibly difficult for me. Knowing what I'm here for and doing it are two distinctly different things alas!!! Anyway I'm still here on planet earth so I best knuckle down and get on with it!!! Hehehe!!
