I've been reading posts in this forum even since my friend told me about it a few months ago.  I've been here all day (again) and finally decided to
join in hopes that someone can offer some desperately needed insight.

Here's an abbreviation of what led up to my present desperation.
A year ago my dearly loved younger son was killed in a horrible auto accident.   A few months after that I had to sell my house.  (My tenant and I both lost our jobs and were running out of money)

The man who sold the house for me got most of the equity.  I know he shouldn't have but at the time my mental state was such that I was not thinking correctly (or possibly at all!)

Now my tenant and I are afraid that we'll be evicted and she'f afraind she'll be homeless.  I have family who might take me in but she doesn't. We have tried finding employment and selling on online auctions but have been unsuccessful at both and now we're really scared of having nowhere to go should we be evicted.  And my tenant is even more concerned and worried about her cats - and mine.

Can someone please offer some feedback on whether or not we'll find employment? or whether there's a chance I'll get any of my equity money back.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you all soo much.

Welcome Calann,

I only wish I was meeting you now under more pleasant circumstances. While we are encouraged to remain as positive as is humanly possible, life can seem so terribly unfair at times? It was bad enough to have lost your much loved younger son in such a horrible manner as this (as if there is any way that would not cause a mother with a heart of gold such as your's great pain), but to lose your home, most of the equity and your job as well within a relatively short period of time after the event, seems more than any person should have to endure.

It is certainly not because you are wallowing in self pity or are not doing whatever you practically can to offer both yourself and your tenant some security in knowing that you will both have a place to live in, and equally importantly will have a job which will provide you with the income in order to keep and maintain it.

I don't know just how many cats you own between you, but having more than a couple is I feel going to seriously restrict your options in finding yet another place to  rent rather than own, if you are as you fear evicted from your current home. Some agents and landlords will not even consider you seriously if you have animals. Keeping too many pets at one time could also be significantly adding to your financial burden, although I do know myself how much love and comfort our pets can provide. You may both need to think seriously about finding the other cats another home, where they can be properly cared for, especially to help you conserve whatever financial resources you still possess until you can both find another job.

To be perfectly honest with you, unless you could somehow prove at this late stage that you were of unsound mind at the time you sold your home, or alternately that the man who sold your home took unfair advantage of or intentionally deceived you, I believe that you have almost a zero chance of now recovering your fair share of the equity money. I also feel that the legal fees you would now need to come up for a qualified legal counsellor could very likely leave you broke. I feel that the money involved in proving this would far outweigh anything you were likely to be awarded? Sorry to be the messenger of such bad news, but I do feel that we need to from now on focus more of our time and energies into getting you both back into the workforce, sooner rather than later.

It is extremely difficult for me to give you a third party reading concerning your tenant's chances of getting another job as well as your own, and such readings are not permitted on this site anyway. I will consequently focus this reading exclusively on your own future employment prospects from now on. Readings of this type are believed to refer to the next six months or so, so anything beyond this is outside the limits of this current one.

When I asked the cards whether or not you are likely to get suitable employment, with an income which is more than adequate for your needs over the short term, I am being told that this is the time for making some tough decisions and for looking more inwards. The overall feeling is that if you continue to restrict your job options only to a narrow field according to your previous work experience, then your chances are unfortunately very low.

If on the other hand you are able to open your mind to a wider range of possibilities concerning the best career direction to take from now on, I am feeling much more confident that something worthwhile is presently in the pipeline. In other words, you are I sense going to need to make some major changes in the way in which you will from now on apply your current qualifications and skills in finding a new career direction for yourself, but not so traumatic that it should be allowed to destroy your health and peace of mind in the process. You are going to also need some professional advice from a qualified career counsellor, who has a much better knowledge than I do of the relative availability of suitable employment for you in your local area.

Please do not continue to waste all your valuable time and efforts on attempting to recover your share of the equity on your home as I do not feel that you have a case for doing so. It would be in my opinion much better to commit yourself to doing whatever you realistically can in order to maximise the probability that you will get that job you wanted very soon. I wish you both the very best of good fortune with your job hunting, and I am now sending out positive and healing energies into the Universe, with the intention to draw what you most need into your lives.

Take good care of yourselves and please do not allow your understandable anxiety to destroy your health, as you are both going to need to be fairly fit and healthy to be able to hold down such jobs, once the opportunities finally present themselves (which they will).

Hoping that these insights have been of some help and comfort to you,

Namaste,

Hi Calann,

I agree with eye_of_tiger on all his insightful suggestions. He is one of the best and most caring readers we have.
I can tell you my impressions are your job situation will improve by the end of the month. As you said, you have a family that will take you in. But your friend will also find a place and not go homeless. I am so sorry about your young son. I do get the feeling this horrible event caused a downward spiral in your life, which eventually led to where you are today. You must persevere and overcome this adversity, as you know he would have wanted you to.

All of our love, prayers and prosperity energy go out to you Calann.
Thank you for the reading.........

Thank you for the reading.........

It is interesting and pretty depressing.  I do, however, thank you all for the time you spent on it.

eye_of_tiger....

To answer one thing you mentioned - we each have two cats.  And my friend absolutely adores them - not just her two but mine as well.

I found your remarks about employment informative but somewhat vague.  (Sorry about that)

Your remarks about health - My health is not good nor has it been for many years.

jotejete....

Thank you also for your insight into our situation.  I do hope you're right about a job before the month ends.

If it's okay, I'm going to ask my tenant to come & seek a reading - would anyone be willing to do this for her?
She has absolutely no money and no one to help her.  People have never been very kind to her - guess that's why she loves cats so much, they've always been her friends and the ones we have here follow her wherever she goes.  As for her finding somewhere to live - I just can't see it (sorry) she grew up sheltered and protected - too much so - and has trouble adjusting to situations. So please, if someone is willing to give her a reading I'd greatly appreciate it.  If I can convince her to come here that is.

Thank you all.

He Calann,

Thanks for getting back to us. I would be happy to do a reading for your friend and I am sure the other readers feel the same.
One thing for your friend to keep in mind is we are straight about the information we provide for you. Let me explain what I mean. Many times if you were to go to a professional psychic they might provide you a reading which is meant to make you feel good by telling you what you want to hear. This of course assures them you have a happy experience and come back to see them. What happens is, in time, you forget how wrong they were about certain things and only remember you felt good about their reading. In this forum most of us are not professional psychics, so we can be more upfront. My own intuitive feelings were pretty much in line with what eye_of_tiger wrote. The only difference was I asked myself a timeline for your job situation( without restricting your job options ) and if your friend would be going homeless.

Namaste
