I just got off the phone with social security. They have received my paperwork and sent it on to the state. But there could be a hold up from drawing off my dad's social security for now. The one year I worked. They say it depends on how substantual the amount I earned was. But working in my favor was that I got the job through vocational rehabilitation of NC and that I had a job coach. Will this money issue get me a passing or failing grade from the state.

this is normal protical..they will probably contact ur job coach and go from there ..they have to check every angle because so many fraud the system .. it takes time ..

Birdie,

I went through a similar thing when I became disabled. I had worked, and made quite a bit of money, and when I applied, I was just at the cut off point, and I was given SSI instead. They will route you that way if the other doesn't work out. I love you Birdie. Hang in there.
