Please help questions with a reading from a local psychic, Mysticism, reading, forums, Numerology, Sun Signs, Divination

Hi my name is Ivan fist off thanx for reading and helping me out.. A while back ago i went to this psychic which was real good.. all i did was sit down shuffle the cards and asked what i wanted to knwo in my head.. and right off the bat she started telling me aobut a girl that had just left me 3 mo. ago.. and it had been 3 mo. (this was like 2 years or so ago when i got that reading) and other thigns that were right on the dot. Well the reading went on and it kept telling me that this girl is my sould mate... I really love this girl and i hope she is... and honestly i've been waiting for that to happen... she doesn't live here she just comes and visits during the summer so i dont see her all year till that time.. So i dont knwo if i should just sit and wait or just forget about her because im crazy for her. I mean this lady is good she has tons of clients and she is very accurate, but honestly i think i've only seen a fraction of all that was told to me so thats why i think i am a bit saddened..

well my story goes on but dont want to make it too long and not get help but if someone can help me with the rest please let me know if its ok to tell... it consists of getting cleaned with an egg and having to buy a canle of life and protection.. (the phycic is greek orthodox and works under a church)

Hello Ivan,

From what you have told us and the number of satisfied clients who use her services as a reader, this woman is quite genuine and I am therefore not surprised that at least some of what she has told you is on the dot. However when it comes to predicting the future, things become increasingly difficult, as this presumes that there is only one possible future to predict. In fact there are probably thousands of possible futures, with the eventual one being largely created and reshaped by decisions you make in the present moment. Also while the psychic information which appears to be coming through suggests that you will ultimately get back together with her, there is no way of putting a time scale on this.

Potentially, unless you yourself do something positive by getting in contact with her at other times than her summer visits and seeing if there is still any basis for a relationship with her rather than continuing to try to read her mind, you could be waiting the rest of your life. Obviously you do still have genuine feelings for this girl, and although absence is said to make your heart grow fonder of her, trying to conduct a long distance relationship solely on the basis of an annual summer holiday in the town you live is I feel highly impractical and unrealistic.

If it is at all possible please contact the girl who you believe is one of your soul mates (as we each have many), and stop beating around the bush indefinitely. The worst thing that could happen is that she will reject you once and for all (your greatest fear), and while this may be painful, at least I feel it will open up opportunities for you to find love and happiness in the arms of another.

If on the other hand you continue to simply hold on to your wishful thinking (which is what the psychic may have been tuning into in preference to a genuine prediction), you will be effectively STUCK for the rest of your life, regretting that you did not at any time get the information directly from her instead of relying completely on an intuitive reading.

There is a significant difference between psychic readers and fortune tellers, although many people wrongly believe that they are exactly the same thing. Psychic readers are more involved with better preparing you for whatever the future may hold in store for you, rather than merely predicting it (although some general trends may be detected within a reading which would suggest the most likely future outcome if all other conditions stayed the same - which they rarely do)!!!

Thank you very much, u know i always keep in touch with her all the time we always talk on the phone and text message each other but i guess its me that does everything.. This time around the psychic lady told me to let her know of my feelings that if she would ever give me another chance some day, that way i can set my cards on the table, and honestly she said "though she loves me" we had our time and thats where its going to stay... i guess eventhough she told me that i dont want to give up im being hardheaded.. i guess its b/c everytime i got a reading that was like 3 times or so she kept telling me that she's my soulmate that she see's me marring her and having kids with her... and I purchased a candle of life that opens up ur book of life that she does under her greek orthodox church and the candle too said the same thing...

But i guess if she told me that i have to look at reality like u said.. it came straight from the source.. I just hope that sometime in the future with the help of god somehow our paths will meet once again..

Do u think there is a way to really see who ur going to marry or who ur Love soulmate is? Like the way i was told?

Yes I do feel that this is possible, although at the time the information may not make any sense to you. Also the information may not always necessarily come to you visually as pictures in your mind's eye. I think you were using the word "see" to mean to predict the future, as while most premonitions do come in visual form in either a waking vision or dream, not all premonitions are seen as images or thought pictures.

As an example, I was given my future wife's name as a loud thought in my head, almost 9 years before I first met her. At the time I knew nobody by that name, and I therefore thought very little more of it until I suddenly realised that I had been given her name all those years ago. Next January my wife Margaret and myself will celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary, and if we are not each other's soul mate then I have no other explanation for the fact that we each often know what the other person is thinking well before they say it, and even share the same birthday (December 9th). There are many accounts in the literature of people who have been given foreknowledge concerning the person whom they would ultimately marry, although notice that many like myself were given this directly, rather than it coming by way of a psychic reader or fortune teller (which are not quite the same thing). It is I feel less likely to come to you through a reader, but definitely not impossible.

Plus I have added the question you included in your recent PM (hoping that you do not mind me answering it here instead).

The answer to this second question is also a YES.

You may have heard of PSYCHOMETRY. The psychic or medium holds something in his or her hand that once belonged to another person, and opens their mind to pictures, words and feelings which tell them something about the person who once owned it, whether they are still living or deceased.

The general idea is that these objects often tend to take on or absorb some of the energies of the person with whom they were in contact on a fairly regular basis. This is why a favourite piece of jewellery or something which is regularly worn close to the body is believed to be more likely to have done this than something which was left in a cupboard and never touched again. This could I suppose include a sample of the deceased person's writing or their personal photograph, although I still do feel that jewellery and articles of clothing worn close to the person's body are going to be more reliable on average in providing the psychic or medium with genuine psychic information about the deceased or living person through the practice of psychometry.

By you saying given to u directly do u mean b/c of ur spiritual powers?
or by reading the cards to ur self?

And once agian. thank you very much.. I am so gald to have found this site!! The person I go to she is never avalable and plus she kind of knows me a bit now and im like "hmm is she just using the rest of her predictions by what she already knows about me" But if its that or not she has the greates memory b/c she remembers the girls name and all the other stuff she always tells me.. so i ask how do u remember if u have so many clients?? and she tells me when i see u it all comes back to me
