Hi everyone,

My name is Susan.  I am respectfully requesting a reading, and I thank all of you who give your time and skill to this forum.  It's generous of you and your time.

I don't have a specific question in mind.  I am most interested in a general reading seeing what impressions or persons come to you.   I've said a prayer prior to this post asking that I receive the information I'm supposed to receive.  Thank you.

PS  Every time I get on the Mystic Board forum, a ladybug flies onto my computer and stays there.   What's up with that???

Hi Susan

You feel to me like someone who is polite and you are strong.  You say what you mean and you are a straight up sort of person.  You dont like mucking around with people and you like people to hear your opinions and to take you seriously.

You feel like someone who speaks a bit like you are a teacher or you speak in your church a bit if you go to church etc.  I just feel you have a great speaking voice and people listen to you when you talk.  You have children around you and I think you have three of them.  They are well loved and you are a great mother to them.  You have a supportive family who help you when you are feeling down or blue which is of great help to you.

You also do too much and you should slow down a little.  You could let your family help you out a bit more in the house as well.  You tend to want to do it all as its easier but you cant do everything.  Just give a few of your chores away as your kids could learn to do a few things around the house.

A drew three cards for you and they were

The Strength Card

The Knight of Swords

and  The three of cups.

The strength card means that you have used your strength a bit lately where you felt you have needed to.  Something or someone has made you really on your resources a bit and you have done well, keep it up as you are stronger than you think and you have a real determination here as well.

The knight of Swords means that you are forging ahead.  You have won the battle and now you are ready to take on the world.  Things are looking good for you and you are feeling quite happy about things at this time.

The three of cups means that there is time for a celebration.  A time to let your hair down the reap the rewards of your hard work.  Have fun, go out and have a good time.  Just enjoy yourself at this time because you deserve it.

Regards

Rosemary

Rosemary,

Thank you for responding.   I grew up in an all female family (4 sisters and mom) so you really have no choice but to be good with speaking skills  Ironically, one of my sisters is a teacher at a church preschool.  Also, even though the tarot card doesn't literally mean it, whenever I come across the 3 of cups, I automatically think of my sisters.   Sometimes I take that card to mean me celebrating my relationship with my sisters.

The Strength card (8) has a strong presence in my numerology numbers.   When I was about 2 years old I had an imaginary friend, but instead of it being a person it was a lion.  Whenever I see that Strength card I always think of that.  It so happens that my mother and I were just talking about my imaginary lion a couple days ago.

Anyway, I thought I'd share that because you never know the many different ways your reading can be interpreted by an individual!!

Thanks again - Susan

Susan,

When I read your request I saw an image of a woman with a medium heavy build sitting at her computer. She had brown hair pulled back. That is the only way I can describe it.

It feels as though she spends a lot of time at that computer. Perhaps it is her workstation at work but I sense that it is her personal computer at home. In either case I feel as though she spends a great deal of time there and the feeling I have of her use is one of searching. Not searching in the Google sense but searching for companionship, friendship, and communication.

The room she is in is dimly lit. This suggests to me that there is a dimmness to her life and she is trying to brighten it up through her searching. The monitor as such is her portal into a larger world that at the moment is more fulfilling than the world she occupies.

This woman is somewhat reserved, polite, nurturing, and caring. She has a great deal to give and is frustrated in what appears to be a lack of opporutnity to give it and thus fulfill herself.

My sense is that although this computer appears to her to be the most efficient way to reach out to many persons it is perhaps not the way in which she will actually receive what she desires. It feels as though she is "working at it" when in fact what she is looking for already exists in her orbit close at hand but unnoticed. While she is looking over the fence for greener pastures what she is looking for is standing right beside her so to speak. If she would simply turn around and take the risk of interacting one on one, face to face instead of reaching out to the world from behind a computer monitor then she would find the object of her desire.

These words are in no way meant to be judgemental. My sense is that this woman is a wonderful warm person who is every bit deserving of the friendship, companionship, whatever it is that she desires. And once achieved she will be a most wonderful friend, companion, etc.

She sits in a dimly lighted room behind her computer. It feels safe there and she may believe that it protects her from being hurt or judged. All that is true. However, she is also alone there and this is precisely what she does not want to be. It is time to turn on the light and turn off the computer and reenter the risky world of human interaction.

I am reminded of Emily Dickinson's poem..."The grave's a fine and quiet place. But none I think do there embrace".  A dimly lit room may feel secure but in this case it is an empty dimly lit room. Only the glow of a monitor and the quiet hum of a computer fan.

Time to return to living and all the risks that accompany it. When you are facing the monitor you are facing in the wrong direction.
