Hi, I hate to say this.. but I'm requesting a reading again.

I have Life Path Number 3 (not 9, if eye_of_tiger reads this ;)).

Can anyone shed some psychic light on my confusing situation here? It would be very welcome to say the least! My parents are really pushing me to make a decision =(

Hello again Thursday,

Firstly I have since recalculated your Life Path number, and have come to the conclusion that I must have been having a particularly bad day at the time of your previous reading. As you state quite correctly, according to my own method of calculating life path numbers, your's is 3 rather than 9. My sincere apologies for misleading you quite unintentionally.

I can assure you that it is humbling to realise that I am as fallibly human as everyone else is?

Just as a note of interest here there is still a considerable disagreement amongst numerologists as to what is the correct way of doing this. Some group the digits of the day, month and year respectively before reducing them to a single digit (with the exception of 11, 22 and 33), while I simply add them together all at once.

With that all now having been put firmly behind us, although the fact that both you and the girl on the forum have an LPN 3 is interesting and may merely be a coincidence, it certainly does not necessarily follow that you will both as a result of this be more compatible as a couple, than if she had any other life path number. In reality, it could potentially mean that each of you are so focussed upon your life purpose(s), that you may not as a consequence have much time left over in order to fully commit to your relationship with one another.

But on the other hand I would never suggest that you should not at least try to get to know her better, regardless of her LPN. If you do decide that she is out of your league and that you feel that it is therefore not worth seeing if you could possibly have a future together as a loving couple, please do not either use life path numbers or psychic readings as a convenient excuse for you not being willing to take the risks of being rejected involved in at least meeting her. No psychic reading can or should ever serve as a substitute for your own divine right of free will. In the end, the decision as to whether or not to approach her must always remain your own?

Unless you would also like an entirely new life path numerology reading to be given (which must be requested in the Numerology forum itself), I would be pleased to offer you an intuitive reading here instead, which does not use numerology at all.

Your question appears to be mainly concerned with your understandable confusion with regards to you being able to continue with your metaphysical and healing work, while at the same time you are able to find a suitable career from which to earn an honest living. I also feel that your main job will not only have to provide you with an adequate income in order for you to be able to live relatively comfortably, but also to provide the extra funds required to both fully establish and to later expand upon your healing practice.

Effectively, you are asking whether or not Social work is for you, and therefore whether it is worth giving it a second chance, after you failed your year on the first attempt. You appear to be quite confident (at least on the surface) that with greater application to your study, you could very well be successful this time around, but deeper within yourself the doubts are gradually eating away at your feelings of self confidence.

On one hand I admire your unwillingness not to simply give up your dreams, at the first sign of difficulty. On the other I feel this is a case of that in order to become a more effective healer, you will first need to come to know better and heal yourself. I also perhaps just as you also do wonder whether the pay you will get as a qualified social worker will be adequate for a person with your specific needs. How much longer would it be expected to take you to get your social worker qualifications, and what is the likely availability of such positions in your local area, now and then?

My impressions on the basis of this intuitive reading are that you could potentially learn much more about and heal yourself more effectively by continuing to persevere with your social work course. But I would certainly not suggest that you should focus so much upon your studies, that your metaphysical and healing work will be neglected in the mean time.

I believe that you will need to find a more comfortable balance between the time and energy which you commit to your studies (and eventually your job as a social worker ) and to your spiritual work. As both your chosen career and your healing work are involved with helping people, why not try to combine the two? I personally had a counsellor who was not only professionally qualified, but consulted her own healing guide intuitively in order to better help those people coming to her for help.

Another suggestion is to approach your college course counsellor, and to examine in more detail whether there is any possible way in which to catch up on what you have failed to learn on the first attempt, without you spending so much time on your studies that you will not have anything left over for yourself and your outside interests (including metaphysics and healing). In the end the decision as to whether it is worth doing this must be entirely between you and your counsellor/advisor (and must at least answer many of the questions I have asked above).

Hi there eye_of_tiger, wOw, what a reply. Thanks a lot! Oh & don't worry, everyone can be wrong.. I'm very glad to receive a reading from you =)

I want things to be perfect before meeting her in real life. I'm on my way to being healed completely, I can feel it. Things are starting to brighten up. I'm a project-person, you know. I'm not giving up so easily.. on the other hand, it brings in a lot of doubts as well (because of the required energy for completing a goal). About her LP being number 3.. I was just curious, so I gave in her birthdate as well. This made me even more curious, obviously!

You're right, I'm looking for a way to combine my passion and future profession. Although earning a lot of money doesn't seem to be so important to me.. I have to stay realistic. Quitting school would be a bad decision. So I decided.. also thanks to you.. to continue with school XD!
Although.. I find it strange, another psychic told me I was going to travel in the near future.. to high energy places. This comes from a trustworthy person. Did you pick up on something like this as well?

I failed my first year, because I didn't study enough. I was demotivated because of.. maybe, lessons I should learn in this lifetime. I took it the easy way and avoided facing the fears I have/had. If I decide to take this course up again, I'll have to face my fears and turn them into positive energy. If I decide not to.. the fears will remain & maybe manifest as a physical illness one day, one thing is for sure though: I'll be struggling with them and I'll be too lazy to do something about it.
A social worker earns an honest living and jobs are widely available as well, you can go many directions with this.

The balance thing you mention.. it's true, I'll have to find a better balance between my interests in metaphysical stuff, social interaction and the course at school. I really got sucked into the metaphysical, also because of the fears I mentioned.. The metaphysical gave me comfort, more comfort than social interaction and my course at school. I was wrong.. balance is a key point in life in general. It's something that keeps everything glued together & I didn't (want to) see that until now.

While I understand that you would want things to be as good as possible before you meet your ideal mate, forget about perfection as it simply does not exist at the physical level, and neither should it. If things were ever "perfect" according to your understanding of what this means, there would surely be no reason for you to ever want to do anything to improve your situation any further.

But by recognising that you are well on your way to being healed you are also admitting that there is always room for improvement, so my advice would not be to wait indefinitely for that so called perfect time to meet your prospective soul mate.

No but that is not at all unusual, as each reader will offer his or her own perspective and insights on what is drawn by all from the collective unconscious. I strongly believe that each reader is tapping into that common source, but that we are far from being pure channels in the sense that the information must first be filtered through our own unconscious beliefs and frequently very different ways of interpreting the same message. In this manner, the message which we eventually pass on to you is necessarily to a varying degree coloured or influenced by our own psychic make up.
