Did they give you any idea at the interview of the time you would realistically need to wait to receive a response, or was it more a matter of don't call us, we'll call you?
If the time has now exceeded the deadline they offered you as to making their decision as to whether you were a successful applicant for the job, it probably either means that you did not get it, or perhaps they want to try someone else first in the position, and may contact those people further down the list (including yourself) if their first choice does not work out.
This extreme insensitivity to job applicants is I am afraid increasingly common these days, largely because of the sheer cost in time and money involved in contacting each unsuccessful applicant in turn. Honestly, in some cases I believe that there is no valid excuse for this beyond them simply not caring, once they have chosen the person they want. It is usually not the person who gave the interview's fault, but more likely someone simply carrying out a company policy (generally handed down by someone who cannot remember (or has never known) what it was like to be constantly rejected from one job after another.
I generally do not like making predictions, as there are so many factors which could potentially upset your employment apple cart at the eleventh hour, so if you can keep the fact that we are dealing here with probabilities which are far less than absolute certainties in either direction, I will do my best on your behalf.

when will I hear back from this job position?
I am sorry to say that your reading indicates that your chances of being a successful applicant are fairly slim, although I am not ruling this out completely.

what will their response be (hired or not?)
You will in all probability not be successful this time, but do not completely give up all hope of ever hearing from them again.

If you can also see what the cause of this delay is
I cannot read their minds, and I do not know any of the other applicants (or their qualifications, skills and past experience compared to your own). I also do not know how many applicants were interviewed for the same position. I have offered some possible reasons for the delay, including but not only that you were not successful this time.
I believe that the best strategy would be to keep applying for positions for which you think that you are suitable, and while you should make every effort to remain as positive as it is humanly possible to be when your applications have been repeatedly turned down, do not wait indefinitely for something which may never happen.
I feel deeply for you, as I know from first hand experience in my earlier years what it must feel like to you, and I feel things were much easier then (early 1980s) with regard to getting a job. If you are not successful this time, please do not therefore take this as a sign that you are somehow destined to remain permanently unemployed (much easier said than done). Keep believing in yourself. This is yet another one of the many readings I have given where I really do hope that I will eventually be proved to be entirely wrong about what I am currently feeling (in this case your chances of getting this particular job).
Your's sincerely,
