I've been in courtship with a company for quite a few months; A few weeks ago their HR contacted me to tell me about a position they feel I would be perfect for. The problem is the process is slow for any executive position, but we are progressing on this one and made some headway today. This would be a dream job for me. Would any kind-hearted person be able to foretell if I am going to get this position and will I be as happy as I think I will be if I do land it? Is this a yay or a nay?

Are you considering moving? I get a strong sense something is going to come up and you may find that you consider moving just before or just after accepting the position.

No, not at all. Unless there is a reason out of the blue to move. But I have my heart set on being here for a while longer and my husband has no plans of leaving this state.

As you probably already know I am not one for making predictions, but I will make a notable exception in your case as long as you realise that many factors (some possibly still unknown) could potentially have a significant impact on the final outcome (and make my prediction effectively worthless in the process). I can sense just how important getting this "dream job" would be to both you and your husband, and it certainly would not do any harm to your own feelings of self confidence if your application was successful,.

If I reduce your request down to a simple question of YAY (YES) or NAY(NO) or "will you get the job" my feelings are that whatever happens will be in the best possible possible interests of your relationship with your husband. The simple fact is that you really cannot extract a YES or NO answer from this reading, as to do so I could either be offering you false hope, or alternately could be dashing your hopes and dreams unnecessarily.

To gain a better idea as to whether or not this means you will ultimately get the job, look at the relative advantages and disadvantages of doing so to your marriage (write them down on paper under two columns). Discuss these points in greater detail with your hubby (if you have not done this already), as possibly the financial benefits of getting this job may be partially outweighed by the reduced quality time you can spend with one another as husband and wife.

Only the two of you can decide if it is all worth it in the end, so please do not use this reading itself as the sole basis for making what is such an important decision.
