Dear Emma,

My advice would be for you to listen to what your own body seems to be telling you, and to then immediately get this fully checked out by a qualified doctor, before you worry yourself sick (possibly needlessly).

Not only is diagnosing or predicting pregnancy frowned upon by many readers (including myself), but in several countries it is regarded as unlawful (unless done by a doctor in the usual manner).

Those home testing kits are only meant to be a general guide, but I must warn you that they can frequently give as many false positive as false negative results.

This is a particularly sensitive matter to be discussed on a public forum (and I am not permitted to read for you anywhere else including of course through PMs). I also do not personally feel a psychic reading should be used in this way. I am assuming that this would not be such a mini crisis for you if it had been planned, or if you had been in a steady relationship for some time and you both wanted children.

In other words, I would be pleased to offer you a reading concerning any other life area other than this one, and I would certainly not be offended if you chose instead to wait to see whether or not another reader might think differently about this. But as for diagnosing pregnancy, I will leave this gladly to the medicos.

Should I say congratulations, or alternately please accept my sincere commiserations, if you do turn out to really be pregnant?

Hey EOT,

I'm sorry I really didn't realise it was frowned upon *blush* thankyou for telling me though *feels silly*. My situation has resolved itself now in a resounding no! lol, I think in future i'll forget what my body says and listen to my doctor!

I would also like to take you up on your offer for a reading if that would be ok? I don't know exactly what in my life i should be looking at so i guess it would be a general one?
