Serious problems with some co-workers at work, I believe it is because of jealously and envy. I feel negative vibes, what should I do to protect myself? Thanks!

Please do not regard this as a reading.

Regularly visualise yourself each morning before leaving for work and perhaps also briefly throughout the day, surrounded and protected by a cocoon of pure white light.

Also try Mahatma Ghandi's excellent strategy of passive resistance, as this often works exceedingly well.

Do not overreact to the things they might be saying, and effectively give them no further ammunition to use against you. Above all do not be unfriendly or mean to them, as by doing so you will be also bringing yourself down to their level and everyone will lose.

Try instead to be as friendly to them as you humanly can, and show an interest in what they are interested in as well (even if this is difficult at first). Discovering a shared interest has often become the foundation of a beautiful and lasting friendship?

While there may be some jealousy and envy towards you (which suggests that they may be misinterpreting the confidence you show in doing your job as meaning that you think that you are better than they are), it could alternately be that you are being viewed with suspicion until you can ultimately find your own place in the office pecking order.

It is quite normal human behaviour to be suspicious of all new comers until they find their social niche in the group of people with whom they will be working closely on a daily basis. Above all do not take this all too personally, as it is almost inevitable that even if you yourself have worked there for some time, whenever a new worker arrives everyone including your good self will once again need to jostle for their own place in the recently changed structure of the work group.
