in a few days, ill be off to a foreign country, will be trying to land a fruitful job and eventually find more meaning in life
any last minute advise?

any hope? frustration? love? meaning friendship?
disappointments in store?

Firstly I would like to take this opportunity to wish you well with the move and with your life and career abroad. I sincerely hope that this does not mean that we will be losing you as a member of these forums.

It will mainly be business as usual in that there will always be frustration and disappointments in store for you, but there will also fortunately be countless opportunities and exciting challenges ahead as well. If you don't mind me saying so, you seem more than prepared for taking what is a series of carefully calculated risks by moving to a foreign land, and I really feel that other than some perhaps relatively minor mishaps and possibly problems with getting back all your luggage, your journey will be reasonably trouble free.

Your reading appears to indicate that you are one of those down to Earth practical type of people who could potentially be an excellent manager with his or her money (or with someone else's as part of your job). There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that this move represents not only a significant new phase in your personal and love life, but also with regard to furthering your career ambitions in some job related to the handling or investing of money. With your reading I keep seeing piles of accounting records, and these appear to be kept to a particularly high standard as if your entire professional reputation rests solely upon their accuracy.

Personal honesty has always been a major feature of not only the way in which you relate to people on a personal level, but you also count this same need to be scrupulously honest in your business dealings as one of your greatest assets - a good reputation which you will defend at any cost. In summary therefore as I have already said above I do not see too many signs in your reading that you have too much out of the ordinary to be concerned about regarding your move, and the overall message behind it seems to be that if you continue to maintain and further develop the many positive personal qualities and skills that have got you this far now in this foreign land, then effectively the sky is the limit and as the late great Johhny Cash sang - THE WORLD IS YOUR APPLE - PEEL IT!!!!

thank you very much for your uplifting reading! you were right on that i'm eyeing finance/banking as a career jumpstart. though i don't have a background on that, i willing to learn the hoops and im already getting prepared by knowing the basics of it on the net hehe

I really hope I can make it ! I think this is the cross road of my life haha

What follows is an extension of your reading!

While you say that you do not have a background in finance/banking obtained during this current lifetime, your reading does indicate that you may have already had past life experiences in which you were working in a similar career (merchant, banker etc).

You may think that you are starting completely from the basics (self taught), and while logic would tell you that because of your apparent lack of experience in dealing with such matters in this lifetime that your chances of becoming a successful financier are relatively low, I believe that the inner prompting you are receiving is far from being a random thought simply because you could not think of anything else at the time.

What I am suggesting here is that your intuition is allowing you to gain access to accumulated past life memories of working in the financial sphere to offer you a jump start, and it is your intuition that is now reminding you of this in the only way it can possibly do so (a thought unexpectedly coming out of the blue).

I am just a little curious to learn exactly when you first became aware that you had a natural talent for financial management and the handling of other people's money on their behalf (which I believe is true). What first got you interested in this type of career, when logic would dictate that your lack of background (on the surface) could seriously disadvantage you in such a profession?

A more reliable guide perhaps this time would be to go more with your intuition on this one (although logic should still play a part) concerning which specific career direction to take. I sense that you have much more chance of making a real success of such a job than anyone including yourself can currently imagine.

I learned some basic know hows in college..actually I don't naturally like finance. Would you believe, how I really dislike saving my money in the bank or going to the bank when I was still young, nor do I trust insurances because I always have this notion that they are just cheating people somehow...(with inflation and everything) Hmm...quite ironic.

Since right now I seem to need to move forward, away from our personal business. I want push myself to like the industry because I think I have to learn this because this skill is helpful to everyone not just for career purposes. I'm interested to challenge myself to be successful in this field. My brother is now actually into stock market, he attends seminars every now and then. But for me, I think even without knowing the theories, I can earn and play in the market (by mere intuition) though I didn't start yet since I don't have extra money to play/gamble plus I want to gather more info.

It's weird because I'm not the stingy type of person who would rather save than use money (because I always have this notion that people should reward themselves either by pampering, traveling, giving themselves a luxurious gift.) Hmm..so I wouldn't say that I am good at money management. But I know it's always different when you get to handle other's money (since there's a lot of trust is given to you and you wouldn't want to let them down).

Have you ever felt that if people would just teach you (like what are the rules, techniques, basics), you can excel in it without much supervision? I'm actually quite confident in this (though my mom always say that I'm too proud and hard headed.)

My chances are realistically slim since I not yet sponsored by any company in that country to work there, I'm actually banking on LUCK hahaha...just one luck and I can make things happen.....
