Just to make it perfectly clear to anyone reading this, that the member has already kindly provided me with confidential information related to this reading through a PM, and I am therefore not claiming that I have obtained this by any other "psychic" means.

You asked me whether or not a significant person from your past will once again be an important part of your life, or whether instead you will have a relationship with a completely different man whom you are yet to meet.

And effectively the answer to your question is that this is entirely up to you to decide - you can either accept him back into your life and gradually learn to live with some of the reasons why you or he decided that you should go your separate ways around 12 months ago, OR you can call it quits and decide that you deserve much better treatment than you received from him in the past, with someone completely different.

This break up has understandably shaken your self confidence and you may even feel a little guilty as though you might have been able to make your relationship with him work if you had only made an extra effort to fix things between you (I do not believe this is true, but that does not stop you from feeling this way as you are as fallibly human as the rest of us are).

The only way out of your current situation of not knowing in which direction to go as I see it is to move forwards once again. You cannot go back and change the past and unless he believes that he is a big part of the problems you were having, I do not see your relationship with him ever working again. Although in the end it is your decision and nobody else's as to whether you should take him back, my feelings are that you need to minimise your losses and walk away.

Until you can break things off with him completely with both your mind and heart, committing yourself to a relationship with someone else is very unlikely to make you happy and the next man will feel as though he is being constantly compared to the man you are unable to fully separate yourself from. This is not a good recipe for having such a relationship, where there are three people involved instead of the normal two (you, your ex and him).

There is absolutely no point in me attempting to predict when and where your next love interest will appear in your life, if you are continuing to hold on to an old relationship whose shelf life has long expired. It appears that you need to prepare yourself for the possibility first, by asking yourself what you really want from life as well as what you are no longer willing to accept as suitable behaviour from your partner. The answers to these important questions are for your eyes only, and I sincerely hope that you will eventually find lasting happiness in the arms of another man who can offer you the love which I feel you so richly deserve.

Thank you very much for your reading. Everything you said is so true. God knows, I am trying to get away from all of this, although it is tremendously diffucult for me. I think the big part of it is my fear of being alone for the rest of my life

. I would have to work on that.

To a certain degree we all have a fear of having to be alone for the rest of our lives (it is part of our survival instinct) and anything but that can soon become a particularly attractive option.

There is nothing at least in this reading that even suggests that this will be the case in your life, but I do know that the waiting period can quickly begin to feel like an eternity.

Would it make any sense to you if I admitted that even when I am surrounded by other people than my own family that I still feel terribly alone, as my spiritual beliefs and personal values appear to be totally out of line with most of modern society's?

There is a very big difference for sure between wanting to be alone with your own thoughts at times, and in feeling painfully lonely?

At this time I feel so empty. Hopefully it is just a dark phase in my life and pretty soon it will be over. Thank you very much for your support I feel much better now.
