By following these few points we can all help to make this forum better


1. We know that everyone is eager to get their free reading but please take a moment to look around our forum, read the guidelines, post an introduction Introduce Yourself Forum or offer a hug in the hug forum

Although it is up to our readers if, and when, they choose to give you a reading we do ask that you do not jump in and request a reading as your first post, that may appear impolite and all but the most desperate requests are likely to be ignored. Instead please take time to wander around the boards and post to introduce yourself. Think about your question, what is it you want to know, really? Post a few things and get the feeling of the whole community. Look at what we expect from you and you are likely to get a far better reading experience.

2. i. All our readers very kindly give their time and energy freely, so if you are lucky enough to receive a reading please take a moment to give some feedback and perhaps a kind word or thanks too. This will be very much appreciated and helps all our readers to improve their services and encourage them to continue to spend their time here.

ii. We do not guarantee that your request will be answered or that a reading will be given. This is purely up to the individual readers, many of whom work full time and do this in their spare moments. Please be patient and do not pester our readers on the boards or via pm or email.

iii. ALL requests and readings should be given on the forum and not by PM or email.

3. Asking for a specific reader or a specific kind of reading will limit the possibilities of receiving a prompt response. Sometimes a reader may be too busy and others will not respond to your request.

**Please note that you do not have to specify a particular reader, we have many talented readers that will respond to general requests. If you do specify a reader that is unavailable we reserve the right to close the thread and offer you an alternative reading.

4. Please do not ask for multiple readings and please do not ask for readings too frequently, this is thought of as abusing the goodwill of our readers, and your posts will be locked and any more requests will be moved to the thread jail. As a guideline please leave at least a month between requests. Some of our readers request a longer break between, as nothing will have changed, and for some only one reading per lifetime  will be given.

5. It helps many readers if you post your name, gender and date of birth, or your starsign, as this helps them to link in distantly. Not everyone works in this way so if you do not feel comfortable then please don't post this information.

6. When asking questions, please word your question carefully, think about the content and take responsibility for the question.

i. Questions that are deemed to be offensive or unsuitable or life threatening will be removed. Please do not ask unsuitable questions about health, pregnancy etc as these will also be removed. Only a qualified medical practitioner is able to diagnose or prescribe and for subjects such as these please refer to your own doctor.

ii. Yes and No questions are very hard to answer successfully with any reading.
iii. Many readers may move past your question in favour of something that they feel may be more important.

7. Please do not ask for readings for others or third party readings, instead ask the person to join Mystic Board themselves, once they have contributed to the community by posting and introducing themselves they are much more likely to receive a successful reading in return.

8. Please note that you must be over 18 to request a reading. Many of our readers will not legally be able to read for anyone under this age due to the laws in their country so please do not be offended by this.
