thanks to all those who read for me in my last thread about working independently

now as few have predicted things have started opening up and a friend is coming to meet me in 10 days to discus about a new business venture which he wants to start in partnership with me
we talked about this few months back but will be talking now face-to-face and i'm expecting this to materialise in 3 months and finish by next year

i'm in india and he's coming from usa.
he was my ex-roommate

how will he respond to my ideas now, will this work ?

As I now open up intuitively to my own inner source while holding your questions in my thoughts, I feel that fortune will soon turn in your favour with regard to your new business venture, and that you are both already highly motivated to make it work. If after talking about this new business venture in such a positive manner he is coming all the way from the USA to India to discuss this with you in more detail, I believe that this shows that he is very serious about this and is willing to commit whatever time and energy is required to make this happen as soon as is humanly possible. I do not however see your business partnership as necessarily being fully arranged by the end of this year, although it could still happen if you yourself are willing to do whatever you can to make adequate preparation and set things into motion mainly in a legal sense BEFORE he arrives from the States.

It is not simply going to materialise without you also being willing to take more calculated risks (as your prospective future business partner is already doing) and thereby hopefully ensuring that your new business will have a firm foundation on which you can both build upon over the next few years. The only caution or warning I get is for you not to become the silent partner, and to allow your friend to make all the important decisions (including financial ones) on your behalf. It will be your business just as much as it is his, and you therefore have a perfect right to voice your opinions as to in which direction you want your business to go. I am not suggesting for one moment that your friend is dishonest or that he might try to conceal the truth from you, but I do see you both starting this business together as a valuable opportunity not only to make a profit, but as a way of you personally learning to be more assertive as an individual (stand up for your own rights and become an effective equal partner).

In other words I see this business to be just as much an important part of your own personal and spiritual development (your spiritual nature and running an efficient business are completely compatible with each other if you are both willing to give it a chance) as a way to generate wealth. I do get a definite sense with you on the basis of this reading that your spirituality is very important to you, and the major challenge before you as I see it will be to combine both your spiritual beliefs and your new business in such a way that they do not detract from one another. You can still run a successful business these days without going against your own spiritual principles?

My impressions are that your business will get off the ground some time in the new year (rather than by the end of 2007) as I feel that you have underestimated some of the challenges which you still have to face over the coming months. I am consequently feeling very positive about your business becoming a reality some time early in 2008, but that it will come about largely through careful and complete preparation and an honest and mutual exchange of ideas between the two of you (and a willingness to compromise) instead of it simply being a matter of him necessarily responding in a positive manner to ALL your ideas. You need to be equally willing to listen carefully to his ideas as well, as if you do not I do not see this working at all.

I wish you both well with your new business and hope that this reading has provided you with some useful insights. I also pray that it has at the same time given you a renewed sense of assurance that everything is unfolding in your life exactly as it was intended to.

thanks a lot eye of tiger , that was encouraging
i'll be meeting him this weekend and see how things can go
though i'm not in a hurry to start off this year, but certainly want this to happen my early 2008

met him yesterday and he responded positively
now i can see how much work i need to put in to make this happen

This is particularly good news! IMO

I am only sorry that I cannot also help you with the extra work involved in making your business partnership a reality.

I believe that if you can BOTH continue to keep your business and personal goals clearly in your minds as a compass to guide you around the obstacles placed in your path, that there will be nothing which can prevent you from making your partnership a long term success.
