Hi, I am a 24 yrs old guy, dob 15 dec 1982. I am going through really tough times feeling frustrated, ignored, depressed and confused as far as my relationship is concerned. There is this girl at my office who i really like(i can give her name if needed). Although I dont think we connect with each other, but i sure do have deep feelings for her and think about her all the time. We used to communicate well until recently. Since past couple of weeks i try to talk to her but dont get much response from her. I dont know what's going through her mind. If she is feeling hurt because of something i did? or if she now just doesnt care about me. Although i know that recently she has been really really busy with her work, i have a feeling she is trying to ignore me. I am feeling really confused as to what should i do about the situation. Any insight into what she feels about me or which which way am i heading or if i should talk to her or if i should give ourselves time for it sort out.

Someone please help. i would really appreciate it.

You speak of a relationship with her and yet you say you don't connect with each other. Which is it?

I would assume she has been expecting more from you than than you have had the courage to give and now she has given up on you.  Your inaction has caused her to clam up on you.

So, my friend, it has come to the part that requires courage on your part. You need to tell her your intentions. If she is interested then you will know. If not, you need to look elsewhere.

The rituals of love are not always easy. It is time to swallow hard, take a deep breath and go after what you want most dearly!

The feelings you describe about yourself, are no good feelings to try to build a relationship upon.
When you are depressed and confused you radiate negative impulses and this will destroy the picture other makes out of you.

The way I understand it, she has never been your girlfriend, but you assume that you both are connected.
Maybe your feelings fools you, maybe this woman is an open type that gives smiles to all and connect easy to all at the office...but have no need for a firm relationship, because she hasn't those feelings for you.

When you now start acting like a "rejected" boyfriend, she will also be confused and try to avoid you....most because she feel you have taken wrong conclusions.

I recommend that you start working on yourself.
Try to lower your expectation and act natural.
When you feel you have got yourself under control, ask her for a date.
This will give you a confirmation if you have a hope or not.
Remember our mind is a strong tool, we make our dreams like they are real, but in fact many times they aren't.

In addition, something pretty specific flashed into my mind, and I want to offer it for your consideration. If it doesn't ring true, then please don't hesitate to dismiss it.

What I got is that she "reminds" you of someone spiritually significant to you. I say "reminds" in quotes because I get the sense that you may be meeting this person in the future, and that this is a previously agreed-upon "meeting of destiny," so to speak. And when I say previously, I mean before this life. In any case, you have mistaken the woman in your office for this other significant person. She senses this on some level and has withdrawn simply to avoid feeding into your misconception. Don't worry-- I don't think you've done anything offensive. She just does not want to send you the wrong message.

The thing to do is to search your feelings. Is she a person of destiny for you, or does she simply call such a person to mind? Put mental "feelers" out across the state, country, or world if necessary. Where does this person of destiny seem to be located? If you are a person who thinks in terms of God, then ask Him for knowledge of His will for you and the power to carry that out. If you are uncomfortable with theistic concepts, then ask the Universe, or your spirit guides, or whatever you are comfortable with.

boguslaw, i found your post really interesting. i dont know or have ever felt about the other person that you are talking about. but i sure have at times tought that it was destiny's choice that i met my girl and developed feelings for her. the reason being we both moved to US from different countries and i got my job under most bizzare cirumstances. i always thank god for that. also it is really relieving to know that i havent done anything offensive. i was really worried about that, coz there was a sudden lack of communication recently. and it hurts me more when someone else is hurt. and i sure do pray very often that everything works out fine. and yes, you are spot on about the second part. i'll work towards giving it more time and having more patience.
