I'm a 29 year old girl, (I'll be 30 in May '07) hoping to gain some insight into my future.

I'm in love with a guy, he is 31. (He'll turn 32 in Jan '07) We've been together since 7 & a half years.

I am wondering about the future of our relationship. Can you tell me anything?

As you turn into your 30s you will find changes occuring in your thinking, as well as other aspects of your life.  Listen to your own heart (the still, small, voice within) and you will find answers to so much of what is happening.  

The bf is focused and career oriented...it is his time to climb the ladder of success (as he sees it) and nothing is going to get in the way of his progress.  This focus can feel like he is cutting you out a bit...it is necessary for his success as he sees it.  He is not changing his mind.  You may feel left behind because you need to know where he stands and he doesn't communicate so easily as yourself.

New opportunities are opening immediately as well as into the new year.  Examine them carefully.  What is your plan?  Is family more important than career?  What is it you want to accomplish over the next 5 years?  These are the questions for today and tomorrow.  Only you can answer them for yourself.  They will manifest as you focus on its successes.
