Where do Western values come from? That is a good question. Coming as I do from the East, I have always questioned the source of Western values but have not always found satisfactory answer. Values go with the wind in crisis precisely because people do not understand the source of values. For me, values derive from my understanding of the nature of the world we live in and are strengthened by faith in god who imparts his nature to the world. Along with faith in god, we need to to have proper knowledge of god. Blind faith is not helpful in my opinion.
