Can anybody tell me the difference between a psychologist and a psychiatrist?

How are psychic readings done? I mean....are psychic readings more of astrology or are the readings done according to psychology?.....maybe both?

a psychologist is not allowed to prescribe drugs, while a psychiatrist can.

psychic readings is not connected to astrology or psychology in anyway.
psychic readings is about intutions and the sixth sense.

Though there are those of the opinion that the best astrologers are those who use their inate intuitive or psychic abilities . So why not a psychologst or psychiatrist . I have personaly spoken to both in my life and invarabily they start out dismissing the idea entirely but after years of practice learn otherwise in some cases .

Because there are sensitivities to psychic abilities does not make a counselor psychic. It would help, of course, if they were psychic and used it in their work.
