I have known my first love since I was  8 years old. We lost contact when I was about 18. I never really had closure with the whole situation. A couple years later I met a guy and eventually got pregnant.

I started having dreams almost every night of driving to the other side of my city. I would have this dream often and every time the roads would change and it was night. Sometimes I would stop along the way. I was also dreaming of him(my first love). He moved to the other side of town a couple years prior to these dreams. every night I either dreamt of driving to the city or of him.

I never thought of him during the day much, but at night he was there in my dreams. After my daughter was born my dad calls me and wants me to move into his townhome (he travels for work and sometimes is gone for a couple of years) and he lives on the other side of the city. Me and my family move in.

About a month after I moved in I went out with a friend and saw my first love, then about a month or 2 later I had a fire and moved. I have seen him once since the fire, but not since then. It has been about 2 years or so. I feel like all of this happened for a reason and I desperately need closure, but I am starting to give up hope on this. I am starting to believe these dreams and occurrences meant nothing, am I right or did it have some kind of bearing on my future at all?? Coincidentally, he lives just a few blocks away from my dad (he use to be my neighbor), but because of certain circumstances I cannot approach him, or at least feel that i can't.

For the sake of what i have written I must include I am no longer with my daughter's father.
