I will start from the very beginning.

I had a usual dream, friends and nice colorful surrounding. Then all of a sudden my vision turned to black and white with dark-grey monochromatic tones that completely changed my emotion from calamity to fear...

Then I woke up, but not a usual waking up, instead only my consciousness woke up and my body was paralyzed. This had happened to me around 10 times and as always I try to separate from my body, which I usually succeed. I don't know why I tend to do that, but it's just like an urge to separate in order to get out of my paralyzed body...

But then as I started to get up a dark shadow started to appear on my wall and ceiling. I said to myself, "ok, it's my reflection probably". Then I heard a loud buzzing in my ears, which I usually experience during the separation process.

But this time there was something different. I was no longer the one part that got up from bed, instead my consciousness shifted to my real body but I had the feeling that the part of me that got separated didn't returned to me.

Then I heard extraordinary loud screaming of a male voice. I recognized it was my own voice!!! But strangely I wasn't screaming at all. It was like another man screaming with my voice. He was scared to death...

Then I woke up and I noticed that my whole body was full of "stress hormones". It was so stiff and scared that I've never experienced so much "stress hormones" released in my entire waking life.

So what this whole scene of events and experiences was, I will probably never know.

Ah yes, I didn't mentioned that Baroque-like music that was playing all the time in my dream, even when events in my dream were changing. It was as if the music was coming from a different plane of reality and not very connected to my dream.

I've had weird experiences like that before but not that frightening. I have no explanation for this though.

It sounds a lot like when the spirit leaves the body to astral travel.  There is pain and discomfort involved (so I ask - why would you bother?) As the astral is such a diverse negative world, it is not where you want the spirit to be set free.  I think that is what causes all the physical and spirit symptoms that transpire before leaving the body.

I've heard and read that the astral plane is a negative plane of reality. Since emotions play a big role in the spiritual world, and I experienced very frightening emotions, therefore there is the proof that this plane of reality is a negative one.

Now, I wonder is there any way to avoid this from happening. I just want regular sleep and to wake up relaxed!

Also I thought, is there I way that I open my eyes during dreaming, because there are times that I'm aware during sleep and I just open my eyes, see the surrounding (my room and all the details in it) but also see strange formless entities and stuff. I think I should film myself during sleep to see if I really open my eyes or it's just an OBE.
