You sound like such a dear person!! I have nothing but chuckles and smiles these past few days from reading your posts...and I say that kindly.  You are such a sweet person and seems as though you always help others without a thought to you.  That compassion is all that it will take to help you strengthen any gift or ability.

For as you know....we are all capable of having the gift and it's already within you naturally...some are stronger in strength and abilities than others for one reason or the next, but you can always see what you do have or what you are capable of doing.  It's part knowing, part believing, and part dedication...but most importantly...you have to have heart and believing in yourself that you are capable of it.  The rest is easy and smooth sailing from there.  I wholeheartedly agree with you that the gift is not to charge anyone for its help.  It has been given to us freely from God and should be used as such to help others.  I am very proud to say that I have never, regardless of my financial woosss have I ever taken even a penny from anyone...for anything that I may do for them.  I am dead set on believing that you can't charge for something that was given to you in the first place.  Others see it differently and that is okay...there's nothing wrong with them charging in my eyes...but for me..I could  never bring myself to do it...

As far as the tarot cards are concern....I have had such problems trying to learn how to read them.  i do okay, but not to the proficiency that i would like or have seen others do...although it is a very good tool to use to make the people who you are doing a reading for comfortable.  I use them every now and then only to confirm what I already see and I used to do that when I first discovered my gifts....

Now....I don't use the cards at all because I am able to see things more accurately that what the cards are able to show.   Despite that, I still try to pick it up to try and learn it just to say that I know how or that I can do for someone if that is what they were wanting to have.  They are both good and both are able to help others..so I guess whatever method one would want to utilize to be able to see with more clarity in their reading for someone.

Gem: when i started your tarot course i read every thing i could get hold of on each card then applied what i could to my cards and through away that which meant nothing to me it took me half way through the Major's to realise what i was keeping was what Ive always seen in the cards anyway all that reading was it worth it    may be it was just to give me confidence and more able to express what i was seeing
