update: no luck in finding it yet...the case is in the car but the DVD just vanished......??????.....

I still feel like it's between the dvd player and the the tv stand that it sits in. Is there a possibility that someone else used the dvd player, took it out and either placed it on top of the stand where it fell, or placed it in between the player and something else, or even put it in another dvd case?

Its a miracle!....the DVD appeared magically!....this may sound silly but i was sitting in the bathroom and when i got up to leave the room the missing DVD along with another was slid underneath the door...perhaps my two year old had stashed it somewhere and decided to return it to me?...I do not know but regardless I have found it and will bring it back to the library asap....Thank you again for all your time and energy...I sincerely appreciate your kindness! much Love and Blessings sent your way!!!!!
