There is a funny little inspiration in one of my favorite books - its called: God has a set of Hammers! In it is explained that when things go wrong, as they sometimes will, he taps us upon the head gently, trying to get our attention. When we ignore the advice he uses a bigger one and taps a little harder. Finally, when we still don't listen he hits us up the side of the head with a 2 x 4. We land in hospital suffering before we take the time to listen.
You are at the 2 x 4 - listen or suffer the consequences of your indecision and lack of listening. |
I have not really been posting over the summer, then I saw this, and I read through it, I thought the story was a good one.
I also am a Libra, it is not so much that we are indecisive, as we keep thinking of both sides of the story so it takes a while before make a decision.
Every sign you asked, for, every instinct you had said to go, but in the interest in being fair to your child, you are holding back.
However there is a reason you are being guided in the direction you are, and you have turned to God for answers, and was then guided,
Look inside yourself, what does your faith mean to you, if it is strong, then follow it,
For me when I am guided this way and I haven't listend to that guidance, I have ended up with problems and regretting it,
THink about this,
an example of this would be a man is faced with getting a promotion at work which will settle his career, gives him a large income, and seems to be one that puts his life on track. Yet he is not satisfied he is working making lots of money able to buy what he wants yet he is not happy. He decides to make the change in his life. Everyone says he is crazy to leave an established company that has been in business for more than 40 years, one where he is on track to end up in charge some day with huge income.
He risks his entire savings on what many feel is a completely illogical choice to open his own restaurant, something he always wanted. Well it was a risk, yes, and money was tight for about two years.
The result however was that the business he worked for previously was merged with another company and he would have been out of a job rather than heading for president of company, and the restaurant took a good 2 to 3 years but once it was established was one of the most popular places, and even opened a second one.
So while all logical and sensible indications said he should stick with his current job, the change to follow his true self was in fact just what he needed to do.
Keep that in mind when making the choices sometimes ignoring the logical thing, and following your instincts will end up being the best thing you can do.
