Impressions. That is the term I would like to call it. These perceptions even. I feel that I can hear people thinking certain things at random. We can be talking or not, and if we are talking I will get a very seemingly random thought in my head, and then they will say what I just thought. It happens all the time and I can hear people thinking things in their own voices.

I even have a good sense of "placement" I guess you would say. I have a knack for "finding" things.

Also I get distinct impressions of people from looking at them, I can "feel" their energy sometimes. Not always of course but it's a feeling of "I just know".

What I would like to know is how to develop this further so as to maybe really help some people in this lifetime.

When trying to develop psychic gifts we should not overlook the mundane and regular ways that people use to 'read'. Body language and psychological profiling should not be underestimated and can give a boost to any psychically revealed information. So look at things like manwatching, and bodywatch, study posture, cadence and the way people behave and act as well as the shape of them and thier hands, in fact just look at the whole picture. Many psychics overlook details that are obvious and visible to everyone. Listen instead of hear, scrutinise instead of look and feel rather than just touch

I've also been trying to develope in this area. I find it very difficult at times to differentiate between what my personal assumtions about people are and what I am actually picking up on. I'm rather antisocial so I usually don't get to verify if what I am "picking up on" is accurate. Also, I don't know if this is considered self doubt, but it seems highly improbable that I'd be able to pick up on so many things at one time. Maybe just an overactive imagination?

Perhaps using attunement techniques for spirit contact will help you identify who is making the impressions and who is there?  The reason we do them is to identify what is our own emotions, urges, etc. and what is input from without.
