Recently there was a thread that was concerned about predictions in readings. However, I feel that the topic itself does merit further discussion and so would like to open a thread to get a few views about what we all think and feel about predictions and forecasts being given in readings.
I am hoping that this will be a friendly and serious discussion that may give us all something to think about.
At the end of May there will be a new law passed that will bring the UK into line with the EU laws regarding consumer goods, (which covers readings, spirit readings and mediumship etc) and which may have a very definitive bearing on the way that people can actually seek legal redress for things like predictions that do not happen and psychic readings that give bad information or distress. Many other countries and states already have similar laws in force.
So should people pass on concrete predictions or should they perhaps be re-worded as possibilities?
Is there ever any way to give a bad prediction properly or should these be left unsaid?
Surely just by giving the prediction the reader has changed the future?
Do we really have the right to withhold information from a reading?
Do we really need to pass on whatever we are given, good or bad?
What about those that are learning, new to reading, practising or developing?
Is there a way we can improve our readings and setup here at Mystic Board?
Over to you
