This seems like a good place to ask this. It seems like in my teenage years I had a fantasy friend. She was always there to help me in my fantasys. Called her Carol. 2 years older then me. She was always positive. Then church came and she of course dissappeared. Now I'm older and think about her a lot. Sometimes I feel she is close by but I think "she was just a fantasy!!" Maybe she wasn't. A spirit maybe. Wish she was real. Now I feel stupid telling you this but just need some other peoples thoughts on this.  thanks so much.  

Ok. A little more about my friend Carol. I watched " Sarah Jane Adventures" last night. The star of that show looks just like her. Really made my night. I was around 16 when I started thinkin of her. Church took me to a differant realm and I let her go. But church just did not interest me to much. Friends were few and they soon forgot about me. But Carol is now back in my mind. Just wondering what it is all about.

    you sound like you are lonely. If you don't have friends at the moment why don't you get involved with volunteer work. Salvation Army, food banks, the library, hosptial, animal shelters, etc. Do you work? Does your job sponser bowling or other activites? Big Sister and Big Brother programs are always in need of honest concerned people. Have you considered going to school part time? You will met some like minded people in classes that you are drawn to. You might consider classes in paranormal relam.
   If you can afford it and where you live allows it, get a dog and walk the dog. You will met other dog people. Save a cat's life and get to know others who like cats. Get a hobby that involves meeting others with the same interest.
   If you are a fantasy prone person have you considered writing a story? Lastly do you smile at people? Do you say good morning and smile? A smile does a lot of wonders. People will think of you as friendly. You might end up talking to complete strangers who ride every day on the bus or train with you. they could end up to be friends.
   With all the people that we share the earth with there is no reason to depend on a fantasy person. Reach out to real people.

I just thought I'd "open up" the discussion a little more by re-posting my response to your original post in the other thread.  I was also thinking that among my questions I should have asked why you think that Carol might want to be in your life now--if you're going through stressful times, or  are experiencing changes in your life, or just have questions about things that perhaps you never thought of asking before.  (You may not have an answer to that--again, that's fine...just things to think about.)

Just some thoughts--others here will be along soon.
