Good for you! I know it's so hard (I think most of us have been in this position , I know I have). Once you let go and move on, the freedom you'll feel is amazing! It'll take time, but time will heal the pain. Be patient and stay strong. I'm glad you've made the right choice.

Thank you for your encouragement! I'm sorry that you had to pass something like this too. Actually I think I made the only choice I could take because I thought I was starting to lose my sanity even having weird dreams about her and more stuff.

Anyway I know hard times will come (I have had hate outburst towards her come of these days but just mentally I don't even consider to talk of rtext her ever again) and I have to make all of you a question: Could or even better should I try to erase the memories I have of this person? Because, lately I guess I'm focusing in some very hard and inhuman things she when we were friends after the break-up and they're hard to forget but I don't want to waste any energy in hating her I just want to feel for her the same she feels for me: total indiference.

Memories are the stuff on which our experience is formed.  Why forget the relationships we had and more importantly, what they may have taught us?  

Total indifference is definitely the opposite of love.  Getting to the point where memories will not cause pain is the important aspect of our own personal growth.  Each experience is like stepping stones.  If we can take the lesson on board, without picking up the stone of the pain, we can grow without keeping ourselves blogged down in the weight of the lessons.

Actually the relationship may have taught a lot of things but if I based in this experience, believe me, I wouldn't have another relationship in my whole life.

If someone who truly loved me was capable of doing and saying the things this person did to me how can I ever trust someone again?

The pain still appears once in a while without control and I'm pretty sure she doesn't feel any remorse for anything she had done or said to me because she has been capable of totally moving on from our relationship in a record time and treat me like trash in a record time too. I want that, I want to feel nothing for her, absolutely nothing. Of course, she has had decent friends and has lived in a city without memories of our relationship which actually helps a lot but it hasn't been only that. Both of us were sensitive so there has to be a fast way to get to the point she is now.

One moment leads to another moment leads to another moment.  You'll be able to put this behind you.  I believe that.    After time, the pain of the memories fade, but the memories remain and are a part of who you are.  When you fall in love again, these experiences will be a part of your existence----good or bad-----It's up to you what you do with it.    But when someone new falls in love with you, they will be falling in love with the whole you:  pain, baggage and all.
