is it possible to have an out of body experience and not realize your having an obe due to everything looking the same like your everyday life surroundings.
Absolutely, although if you examined your surroundings in much more detail you would soon notice that there were definite differences from your waking reality (the layout or objects in the room are slightly out of line with what you know to be real).

Is it also possible that you can experience something like an OBE and you body be on auto pilot?
Unlike your previous question you appear here to be asking here about the possibility of experiencing an OOBE while still wide awake. Again there have definitely been documented cases of people realising that their consciousness is temporarily outside their physical body and their body itself is going through the motions of functioning normally regardless of nobody being home at the time (on autopilot), so the answer to this second question is also yes.

What other questions should I ask my guide/IT after I feel the being is safe.
Your guide will know what questions you most need to ask him her or it at this particular point in your life, and will prompt you to do so. In a strange way your guide knows much better than anybody outside of yourself what questions need to be asked, specifically tailored to what stage of your development you are at that time. There is no useful point in you asking a question for which you are not adequately prepared to accept the answer, when it finally comes?
