| I would like some body to advice me how to reduce this effect of the past memories in our present actions so that we can have full control of the situations and act in a better way |
If you find that these past memories are having a significant negative effect on how you react and what you do now, there is a visualisation technique which you can use to effectively recreate your past, but this time in a way which will be positive and more in line with what you have come here on Earth to do.
As you obviously cannot go back in time and change the actual experiences which gave rise to those memories in your outer physical world, you will need to use the creative powers of your own imagination to effectively alter history in your inner one instead, in such a manner that you will now selectively focus on new memories which will give you a much greater feeling of being in control over your life to live as you best see fit.
Armed with these new subconscious memories, you will now react and behave accordingly in a way which will be of great benefit to you in whatever you set out to do in the present.
In order to recreate your past only one day at a time, try the very appropriately titled "Groundhog Day Technique", the name being derived from a well known 1993 film by the same name starring Bill Murray.

| Just visualize your day the way you would have liked it to go. Do you wish you didn't do or say something? Do you wish you had worked on a project instead of channel surfing the TV for 4 hours and having watched nothing interesting? Just look at your whole day and see areas of your day the way you wish they were. Make it a reality in your imagination. Even if you got negative news, replay it in your imagination in a positive light. This is no time to be realistic because much of your reality is actually moulded in your imagination............ |
