I hope it's ok to ask about these souls here. It does appear that this may explain the sudden psychic awareness or opening? Do you think it's possible, in fact do you think you are a walk-in spirit?  Try this quick questionaire and see what you think. I was quite amazed at some of my answers.

Through surveys completed by Walk-ins themselves, WE has found that Walk-ins have certain things in common. Thoughtfully answer the questions below and read the explanations for clarification.

1. Have you changed or altered your name (aside from marriage)?

Many Walk-ins change their name in some way. They may add or delete certain parts, or change it entirely. They say they don't feel comfortable with the old name.

2. Have you separated or divorced your spouse?

Many Walk-ins separate and eventually divorce their spouses, unless the spouse is willing to grow spiritually along with them, and possibly help with the work.

3. Have you moved to a new location?

Many Walk-ins move to a new location, either within the same city/state, or to another state. Some move to other countries. Wherever their work is, that's where they go, sometimes, quite suddenly.

4. Have you changed your profession or trade, or do you want to?

WE has seen two things happen here. Either the Walk-in uses almost every skill the host soul developed (not always in the same job or way) and takes them further in the work, or they simply change professions, trades, sometimes entirely transforming their lives.

5. Do you feel part of the Earth life around you?

Most Walk-ins say they don't feel part of life around them. Yes, they have friends and family, and they love them. Yes, they take part in the life around them. But, they never actually feel part of it.

6. Have you ever had a serious illness with high fever, been in a coma or a serious accident, or had a Near Death Experience?

If you can answer yes to any of those episodes, chances are that you may be a Walk-in. Many, though not all, Walk-in experiences occur when the body/mind is rendered unconscious.

7. Have your psychic or intuitive abilities heightened?

Most Walk-ins find that these abilities are heightened, especially soon after they've walked in. They suddenly see, hear and know things in a different way than they previously had. Their intuition is "stepped up," so to speak.

8. Are you religious...or spiritual?

Walk-ins seem to separate religion from spirituality. While some do belong to main stream religions, many more belong to metaphysical churches, such as Unity, where the focus is broader and oneness is emphasized.

Are you a Walk-in?
As you can see, although every Walk-in experience is different, there are certain threads that run through all of them. In the end, only you can decide whether you're a Walk-in, but until that inner decision is firmly made, the work you came to do will simply not get done.

Thanks for replying, it definately got me thinking about this idea, and I feel it can explain some strange happenings.

I have heard of walk-ins before and they are very interesting people.It can also explain the multiple personnality disorder for some who does not know what's going on with them.sometimes the soul takes possession of a body if they have a mission on Earth.This agreement have been made between the host soul and the walk-in before the first one takes birth.
in other cases sometimes the host soul goes through a trauma that he/she could not cope.A second soul comes takes possession of the body with the host soul present to help overcome the trauma.When the host is able to take on life again he takes in charge of his body once again.
whenever the walking in happens there is a drastic change in their personnality as they are no more the previous one.Interesting phenomeon i can say.
