I'm not asking for a reading but more for reassurance. I bought a reading from Ebay and the woman said my husband is likely to die in 5 years from a heart problem he is unaware of! You can imagine my shock.

Now, I know from reading other posts that this is unethical on her part. I guess I am just asking for anyone else who has psychic skills to tell me that a real reader wouldn't have said that because it's playing heavily on my mind.

I read the tarot and once saw the Death card and had a funny feeling about it (it was a reading for my sister and usually I interpret that card as positive for the querent). I made it sound positive, new changes etc, and she rang to say her mother in law had died 3 hours after the reading. I believe it is fundamentally wrong to tell people their loved ones are going to die soon - is that right or could this woman be right? If so, I would rather not know, because it has upset me.

The Reading show the worst kind of Psychic and one who should be banned from ever make a new Reading at all.

It is hard to tell you to look away from the Reading itself, since the thought have been giving a seed, but you need to try to suppress it.

As one who have lived a bit longer then you, and also have had a major heart attack, with bypass operation, have got that life philosophy that I never shall expect to live forever, one tomorrow will never come.

This has not made me afraid for "tomorrow" but more given me the opportunity to always tell my dearest that I love them, to settle all dispute, to never let small incident grow into thing that might lead to "bad blood"....because it is so a waste time...and many times it is just our Ego that are "hurt" and our "cursed" pride.

So let the Reading rather tell you that anyone of your dearest might not experience tomorrow...let the Reading be a mean to focus on the good thing in life and to settle thing that keep you apart... let the next 5 years be as good as they can be....and you might see that those 5 years might last 50....but in the end you won on the Reading!

Good luck!

Thanks Rhutobello, I feel a lot better now. I knew when I read it that it was a bad reader for saying such a thing (and the rest of the reading was equally ridiculous) but you have put my mind at rest. The important thing, as you said, is to focus on each day as it comes and live your life the best you can.

Thanks xx
Bad reading

I had a very good medium tell me the same thing last month.
Because i knew he was exceptional, and because the message came from dad (verified) i took the message on board and had tests done,
so far the outlook is good. i had a tarot reading done 3 years ago which told me i would have a chronic illness that would be contained and managed for a long time if i act or early death if i didnt. The tarot reader was a person i have used for very long time and has been 95% acurate for me.
I havent taken these as a negative but a reason the get healthy and shape up.
I have had to give a simalar warning to a friend about her pregnant daughter, they saved the daughter but not the baby.
If i had said nothing there would have been two lives crossed over.
Other times i get the message but know i am supposed to say nothing to them.
Theres a big grey area in the ethics of this profession that does come down to a person by person basis.
My mum has a doctor give her results from a heart test, he tells her she has only half a working heart.. Mum gets a second opinion from another doctor, he says theres nothing wrong..so whos right..
Cup half full or half empty...

Cheers Pete

Well...I happen to disagree with you PC....or rather point to how the message are given...because that is the most important thing.

If any Psychic know they are fairly good....that they can know  the future....and see the death of a person a period forward....shall they then tell it blunt?

What is the worst thing you can do to any human?
In my opinion to tell him/her the time of Death.

Why? can you say, he/she will be able to take farewell...he/she might do everything ready for the final journey.....  yea...and what so?

The psychic have at the same time given the worst sentence any person can have...time of death....what thoughts do you believe will go around in the head of this person and his family....there is given no hope for avoiding the death...there is given no remedy....just the sentence.....is this a good psychic worthy? NO!

One might see that a person can die in a time period, one might even see what cause it.....but the best way to tell it might be in a more indirect way....give possible "solutions", give advice about what controls that need to be taken...or if the death are not to be avoid...tell to put life itself in the front seat...to enjoy the time we have together....to give them inspiration....but to tell about the death itself is no use for the receiver...only lead to agony....and it better stay by the psychic.

If one can't manage that,,,well then one might have psychic abilities....but hopefully I never ask any advice from such a medium.
