I'd like to offer the suggestion of a journal. Write things down, as they come and those that manifest as well.

I've done much journaling. It helped in many aspects of my life.

I read your Mediumship - Lessons and Tips  and found them excellent and full of love and light. The only problem I had with it was the piece by  Elizabeth Harris, about science. There seems to be much confusion on this subject in the threads I read on MB.
Although many scientists come to a knowledge of spiritual truth, as people in all walks of life tend to do, the people who make the rules and say what will and what will not be included in the text-books – the academics, do not agree. There is no way that science in it's present form will encourage spirituality. The party line is that it does not happen and all visions, clairaudience and psychic forms are the result of sick minds or just plain imagination.
I would not recommend modern science for spiritual uplifting with it's claims of an accidental cosmos and creatorless evolution.
This may make me unpopular with some, but I say it as I see it and take the flack.

I know what you mean.  Elizabeth did some wonderful research on what modern day scientists were saying and showed in her writing how they were NOT contradictory to a Spiritualism belief in God.  Even Einstein is quoted as saying he sees 'the old man' (God) in his experiments.

They are perhaps minor quotations to show that we all have a bit of a thought on a higher power, despite how we experiment to prove the opposite.  Mainstream is doing such things as showing what love will do to the grow and nurture of plants and water.  How much more do we need to see a higher power?  

Yes, you will find opposition to science and religion.  Some just don't want to believe that the more we examine our material world, the more we find our spiritual world.  And some of us like to see that there is no contradiction at all.
