I have noticed we have an increasing number of reading requests being made on this forum (often about missing jewellery or other valuable personal items), rather than where I thought they were to be made.

Could I please have a statement about the site policy concerning this expanding practice?

As readers are we therefore obliged to direct the person to the correct forum, or are we alternately allowed to respond to their request where it already lies?

My personal opinion is that if this continues to be permitted, that the distinction between the main forum and it's sub forum will become increasingly vague to the point that there will no longer be any need for separating reading requests from general questions about the psychic.

I was wondering about the same thing EOT... If any of the rules are to apply at all then aren't all of the supposed to? Or can we just decide to pick and choose which ones we let apply to us?

our policy are the same....all request shall be done in the proper forum.

We will try to move/delete/jail request that not suit....but at the same time it is important that none respond to this request either.

If the discussion/reading first have started it feels harder to move....and it might also slip our eyes (or mine) because I always scan for zero reply

First I will say that Rhuto and I are online every day, and we both read this forum several times a day therefore it is perhaps best to leave moderating and comments regarding moderation etc to one of us and not start replying to the thread which then, as Rhuto says, makes it very hard to move/remove/act on the original post without offended the responder or looking like we are going against their views, comments etc. If a post needs attention or you think it is wrong, unsuitable or posted in the wrong forum then please report it using the Report as Innapropriate Post button on the left hand side, you can add comments as to what is wrong etc. This then flags the post and the first mod online will deal with it.

With regards to 'readings' in this part of the forum my views on this are very simple, requests for help finding missing jewellery or items do not constitute a psychic reading therefore I leave them in this forum which has by far the most traffic of psychics and leads to a better response and as you are probably already aware, so far we have had some great results with finding things.

If you DO see any rules being broken then please either report the post as above or PM the moderator or admin or Swetha please

My sincere thanks to both Rhutobello and Gem for clearing these matters up for me, as it is evident from this thread that other readers were also confused about the moderation policy involved.  

Questions about finding missing valuables and other personal items do not require a formal reading to be given, and can therefore be safely left exactly where they were originally posted.

Another good reason for asking such questions on the open forum, in preference to through a private message. It informs and helps more than one reader at the same time, so that we can in turn be able to better help members in need?
