Hi, I'm new to the mystic board. I do have a question. It's probably been discussed before but here goes. Say you have a psyhic reading and you are kind of bummed out by what was read, would using the law of attraction bring about a better 'future'?

Using anything that helps you focus on positives in your life backed up with actions is always a good thing. Go for it.

There are really no predictions as such - your life is unfolding according to all the laws of life you attract into your life.  Why take the negative when you can produce the positive?

The future is only as good as absolutely NOTHING changing beyond this point to the time of the prediction!  And life is NOT like that - it is changing all the time.

If you didnt like the reading, say so! But, the future is NOT set in stone, you can change it and you do not really need the LoA, just common sense and a bit of want. Think about what your goals are and then go for it!

Most good readers do not predict doom and gloom, they empower and enlighten.

   I'd been feeling a little less empowered lately and confused. I've had several psychic readings over the years and some have had direct hits but none have given any really positive enlightening 'future' scenerios. I had a reader tell me that someone in the family would have a heart attack. Thought it would be mom because she has all kinds of health problmes but it was me almost a year later. I didn't know that I had extremely high blood pressure. No symthoms. I've had the usual there will be a male moving into your home and for years the only male in my home was a neutered male cat. Then my son's marriage fell apart and now he lives with Mom and me and the cats.
   I'm going on a once in a lifetime cruise with Mom in a few months and a psychic told me that I'd fall and sprain an ankle. The same psychic told me that I'd move to a part of the country that I would never consider because I'm terrified of the type of weather they have. This is a fairly well known psychic who did miss the big in the newspaper family connected event that almost caused me to have a second heart attack.
    She did see that I'm spending a lot of energy cleaning the house. Not sure why that is more important then my daughter nearly getting murdered.
  I'm thinking the good thoughts and saying positive affirmations, praying and imagining a great future.
