I am currently trying to skill up my ability with clairvoyancy and other skills pertaining to psychic and meta-physics i was just wondering if anyone has tips on how to train. i go to school, could that be a good place to practice? right know i would like to learn how to scan people.

If by "school" you mean the traditional type of learning establishment, this is probably one of the worst places for learning psychic skills. In such institutions, both pure logic and reason reign supreme. Psychic ability has very little to do with logic, but is meant to be used in combination with it.

I believe that attending a regular psychic development circle under the careful supervision of a knowledgeable and understanding group leader whose own psychic abilities are relatively well developed and largely under their control when combined with private meditation sessions at home between circle sessions is often the safest and easiest way to proceed.

Developing our natural psychic abilities for the wrong reasons (other than you wanting to genuinely help others) or lacking the spiritual maturity to be able to use your gifts in a responsible and morally correct manner can easily turn psychic development into a living nightmare not only for yourself, but for those people who come to you seeking assistance.

By all means learn what you can about the psychic and paranormal from books and online, but they should never I feel be seen as a substitute for you having regular practical hands on experience. The more you us your psychic abilities, the easier it becomes. Also it becomes easier to sort out the genuine psychic information you are receiving from what is simply wishful thinking or possibly a product of your own vivid imagination (the ability of discernment).

While you say that you appear to be more gifted as a clairvoyant and there are special exercises for developing these skills specifically, I would recommend that you should not immediately rule out the other psychic senses of hearing, sensing or developing intuition.

While we all possess the entire range of psychic abilities, it is usual that one or more of these is naturally stronger than the others. If you confine your development to being able to receive impressions only using your inner eye, you could be overlooking much of the information which comes to you by other means. It is as if you were only able to view 10% of the pieces in a jigsaw puzzle, and were trying to guess what the whole picture would possibly look like based upon very limited data.

I agree with Tiger, we are "better" at some things than others. I think you need to figure out where your natural ability lies. It may not be in that neck of the woods.

If you can do that, you'll be more likely to see faster results, which will hopefully lead you to buckle down and study the stuff that will be more difficult. I don't think scanning is your best bet.

Please study with a friend, especially if you are experiencing any instability in your life.
