Good morning to all.

I mentioned something on this Board without really even thinking about it and didn't even know that it was on my mind.  Gem instantly picked up on it and threw me a curve ball when she replied.

I mentioned that I remember NOTHING about my childhood and there's lots more from then to now that I don't remember.  When she asked if there could possibly be something I'm blocking, WOW!  I instantly started crying.  She said she was worried about me and I realized that I have definitely worried about it over the years.  No one has ever "called me out" about it before and when she did, I just don't know what happened to me.  I'm going to work very seriously on this -- not quite sure how to do it, but I'm gonna give it my all.

My question for you is:  Do any of you KNOW what I'm blocking?  I don't want you to tell me, I would just like to know if you already know what it is?

I know you get tired of hearing this from me, but I just love this place!!

Somewhere along the way, you learned to 'block' any emotional response to any situation.  Perhaps the family you were raised in didn't express themselves and it became a habit to internalize all emotion?

I am an absolute true believer but am still amazed by the amount of talent/gifts/insight (I don't know what to call it) of the members of this Board.

I have had a couple of readings before but it was a whole lot of talking without them ever really saying anything of any significance.

Spiritalk and Gem -- you have absolutely hit the bullseye with just one sentence.  I just can't express how much I appreciate all the help.  And, yes, Spiritalk, you are exactly right about my family -- we never, ever expressed ourselves.
