i don't think that is the case . . . this ghost was here awhile i think he slammed my doors an opened the front an back doors the night before i got bruises he came from the house across the street i think . . . i'm not sure why he's here but I know for a fact it has nothing to do with my bein in love with my friend however it could be because my brother keeps going over there and removing things he's been here before the feelings became strong he showed up around the time we moved in here  i think . . .
as for my friend . . . i have no clue what the future holds i guess the best thing i can do is be a friend when he needs me . . . sucks watchin the person you love be with someone else

Here's another way to look at things..heaven & hell exist here on this earth..not out in the great beyond....we create it here, in each moment.  "Watching someone you love with someone else"..is creating a 'hell'.  Find a small heaven ...starting small, helping another who is less fortunate that yourself..filling a need...can even be in the form of adopitng a pet from the shelter, and getting out to the dog park...Create a heaven, NOW in this moment...

As for the ghost..try a different approach...say outloud.."I mean you no harm...I wish to live in peace"...Sounds like you may have also disrupted his 'routine' a little bit.

There are rituals of house clearing so that you can help send a 'stuck' spirit on to the spirit realms through the white light.  It is a smudging (cleansing) ritual with sage, sweetgrass or a white candle would work as well.
