I was wondering what everyone's take is on how we are able to do what we do... Personally I am not sure how I know the things that I do, just that I have always been able to do them and that other's can not... (most of my family can't<or don't depending on what you believe>) but I thought it would be interesting to hear others views on it.

To me it's all about understanding that we are all truly connected. We feel different people because they are not just themselves, they are us. Their pain is our pain. Their joys are our joys. Their lessons are our lessons. Their experiences are our experiences and through it all we will all learn, and come to an agreement. So to me it is not that some can see and some are not able to see. To me it is that some choose to see and some choose not to see. But through it all we still learn that we are all connected. What you do and what others do is not for your own use and for their use, although some will claim it as such. It is for all that we may see, and truly understand. To me it is about opening one's heart to what is there. It is true the mind is also a powerful thing. We can allow ourselves to follow the path of our mind, or the path of our heart, down the road of truth, or down the road of temptation.

All else is a distraction.

Im in the same boat. I been told many reasons for what we do, from that whole gift of god thing to tuning in like a radio or post truama reactions awakening minds. In a lot of ways its like pick a number.
Sometimes its as plain as the light of day, other times its like listing to a phone call with out the phone or its watching tv but you are seeing a short clip a future event.
Some times its having a dead guy standing in front of you telling you his woes, or like the other day when i felt a hand on my shoulder turned to find a lady sitting with me reading my book. Or getting woken up by the screams in the middle night.(hang on that might be my wife seeing me) i would like to say i meditate on this or that but i really dont Im gratefull that the forum runs the development classes.

I feel that I'm in this club as well but at times I believe we have these abilities for a reason, but what that reason is I'm not so sure. I don't see any spirits sitting next to me like Pete dose, my abilities are a little different, at the moment my abilities allow me to go in the future by 12 months or back, once I have done what I was asked to do by my guides I'll be able to go anywhere I wish. Now I don't know if that's a good thing or not but I know it will be interesting. The only thing I don't understand is what am I supposed to do with this abilitie that I have.

*smile* WOW, this is all very interesting and While reading what Sidewalk said it rings true... I mean it is the point of Namaste right? that we are all here together and part of one another and in seeing that we become more than what we are just thinking about self....

I am really glad that you put that up here Sidewalk... I think it is easy for us all to forget that we need to look out and not always in.... *smile*

I am sure that it isn't always the wife *smile* BTW: when I read that I laughed so hard I had to tell D what I was laughing at... *giggle* but I know what you mean about the people talking and just telling you the poor me stories... I always try to remind myself that they probably have been looking for someone to tell them to for a long time and I just happened to be that person.. it helps alittle.. Personally I like the ones like your lady who just want to be there and do what you are....

Sampson: That is really amazing that you can do that and I hope that you find the path of what you are meant to do with it... keep us posted on your progress I know that I am interested in finding out....
