I was enjoying mysticboard a lot for long time and eventually joined the board recently.

The problem is; my wife visited a psychic last week and she told her that her auric field was blocked intentionally by "God knows" who, and recommended NOT to do basically anything in terms of career, social, etc. Bit scary!
She offered my wife to unblock and open her aura in 3 sessions for of course some money.
Another friend of mine also tells me that nobody could help her, but only herself to heal. She wrote;

"Of course a great amount of life force is needed for the healer to asssit your wife in the healing process.  The healer cannot take responsability for the healing otherwise the ego will get involved.  
Your wife let these attachments happened perhaps at subtle levels, without being aware, so she got what's called "corded".  I would suggest telling her not to get involved in anyway including emotional with anyone.  Dettachment is what she needs to learn. Prayer, meditation and you can also help to clear her aura.  Also tell her to drink plenty of water you both bless/boost before she drinks it.  Etheric showers will help in cleaning one's aura."

Anyone experienced something like this, and any helpful suggestions are welcome!

I belive it was very irrisponsible of that so called healer to say such horible things to your wife...
remember, noone is corded until that person let be corded...she simply shouldn t belive what that psychic say...she could probably use some emotional detachment in life, some rest, exercise, maybe yoga, maybe reiki, maybe thai chi...etcetc....but all she needs is her faith and love from people she loves...

While it may be difficult to dismiss the whole psychic reading, it is important to get in touch with self and acknowledge free will choices.  Nothing attaches to us unless we give it the energy to become a part of our aura.  Remember, the aura is a ONLY a REFLECTION of who we are within.  

The work to release someone or something from a person begins with their own body, mind, spirit to release any and all attachments.  There are many techniques and good ideas available for helping release these emotional attachments - cords.

I ritually do visualization, meditation, affirmation for the empowerment of self - that is where it all begins.  Using the tools of my own consciousness I can become strong and empowered in my own good.  That is the key to it all.  After all, even a hair dye commercial uses the line:  And I'm worth it!
