can anybody help me to receive a message?, Mysticism, reading, forums, Numerology, Sun Signs, Divination

My life has changed a lot in the past year. And I think the changes inside of me have been even more dramatic than the changes outside.
And even though there have been difficult times, I feel that I am being guided somehow. And I also feel that I have been receiving a lot of messages, in different situations but especially in my dreams. And this has increased lately.
I don't interpret my dreams, but sometimes I know what they are trying to say. Sometimes it is just a thought when I'm waking up, and a couple of times I have even heard a voice in my head as I woke up. It was just a phrase, then followed by some thoughts.
But all this is very confusing and sometimes I think I'm losing my mind. A couple of nights ago I had a very vivid dream, and at the end I saw a message. I can't tell if it was a piece of paper or a big sign, but it was handwritten and I knew it was a message for me. I could read it, but can't remember well what it said and it didn't really make much sense.
I know this is not the dream interpretation forum, and that's not what I want. I also know that you are all very kind and really like to help. And because you have a lot more experience, I was wondering if any of you could receive a message for me. Not necessarily the one from my dream, but maybe there is something that I need to know and I just can't understand.

I'm not sure whether this will help, Have you tried to meditate to receive your messages?

I realise that it will probably not be any comfort to you to be told that most of these messages you are receiving are not intended for your conscious mind. They are if you will messages meant for other parts of your own unconscious mind, and it is therefore not always necessary for you to consciously remember them as their benefits will still be felt at deeper levels, regardless.

Possibly you are somewhat impatient and a bit of a sticky beak as I am myself in always wanting to know exactly what is going on behind the scenes at any time, but when your dreaming mind has determined that it now needs to make you more fully aware of the contents of these messages, it will soon prompt you to ask either for a dream interpretation to be given (or a reading) when it feels the time is right for doing this, and not before.

Many personal issues are satisfactorily resolved by the unconscious while we are sleeping, and may never need to be made available to our consciousness. Rather like having your own inner dream therapist constantly on hand, in order to iron out some of your problems without ever needing to know precisely what the problems were. Your dreaming mind knows better than either of us when it gets to the point that you must consciously understand the message in order to apply the information gained in your waking life, if indeed that point is ever reached at all.

I have done meditation for years. But these messages seem to appear on a need-to-know basis, and not when I want them.

So, I understand what you say EOT and I know you are right. I wrote something in the reiki forum, how dreams are a way of releasing and sometimes they mean something to us and sometimes they don't.

In this particular case, I do feel there is something I need to know. That's why I originally put this message in the Psychic Reading Forum, because I thought one of the readers there might be able to help me. But I guess because it's not a formal request for a reading, it was moved.
Anyway, maybe I'm not supposed to know after all. And you are right about something else: I know patience is one of the lessons I'm supposed to be learning... Thanks.
