I was reading some of the other posts in this forum and then I thought of something. I have a niece who recently turned 22. When she was 18-19, she was diagnosed with anorexia and was under psychiatric treatment and started taking anti-depressants (prescribed). She is much better now, but during that time she started having all kind of experiences, like seeing and hearing things. She told her psychiatrist and obviously was told that it was effect of the drugs, so they started changing them and all that... But even after she stopped them altogether, she continued having these experiences. For example, after my father passed, she could still "smell" him sometimes; and she also "received" a specific message for a friend (from his mother who had passed years before). And she could also see and hear things that no one else could.
Some of these experiences were very frightening for her, and I think that she closed herself to them. It still happens sometimes, but not that often. I think she is less afraid now, and also feels better because she can talk about it. When it started happening, she didn't tell anybody. As we live in different countries, I only found out about a year ago, but now she always tells me when something happens to her.
Has anybody had a similar experience, where drugs (prescribed or not) seem to trigger psychic abilities? |
Now, in your case, it is crystal clear like water
1-Yes, certain drugs have the ability to trigger psychic abilities
That's not a method I would recommend for evident reasons but all I can say that is this: in the long term, great dangers lie ahead for you if you decide to open your abilities via that road.
2-Good or bad news, I don't know

... but I can confidently confirm to you that your niece didn't choose that road.
The prescribed drugs do not have that effect. The drugs used to open up psychic faculties are (thanks God) not sold and/or recommended by psychiatrists.
As said previously, she didn't use that road . As you mentioned, she was anorexic. For reasons that I won't go through here, to restrain yourself from eating open up your psychic senses. Whether you do that by yourself or not.
Most of psychics are vegetarians for that reason too.

That's explains why the higher you go spiritually, the less you tend to eat.
It makes you more sensitive and alert to psychic influences regardless of their natures...that's where the importance of knowing what to see and when to shut off the visions comes in
It is the loss of appetite that she experienced that triggered her psychic abilities. As I said in previous posts, I believe
everybody has psychic powers, whether they want to admit that to themselves or not.
What caused the anorexia previously is another matter, but it did open up her abilities and now , given she wasn't prepared for this, she can't shut off her visions
Of course, now that it is open, she can relay messages from souls that wanted to pass messages before they left but couldn't for various reasons and also messages from "Spirit guides" as you mentioned.
That's great she is open to you and shares that because it can cause great psychological harm when it is not acknowledged for what it really is.
She might want to update herself on those occurences for her spiritual well being
