I have just found out that I am an Empath, I just thought I had a soft heart all me life..lol. I have been researching on Emathy, and I don't have just one of the symptoms but every single one. I will cry with out knowing why, songs and movies also make me cry. When I am around people I will for no reason get extreamly tired. If I am around someone having a bad day, it is like I too end up having a bad day that started out to be great. I have also been told that I could be clairavoyant because of my dreams. My dreams are like movies, and I can remember them very well. Though at times there are things in my dreams that seem fuzzy and I can't make it out. They are always frighting, I can hear, smell and feel in my dreams. I also will get an uneasy feeling for no reason, as if someone is watching me or really close to me. If I ignore it, it will go away. I have a lot of heath problems that the Dr.s can not find anything wrong. I have had test after test, some painful. At times my blood pressure will drop dangerously low. One time my husband had to take me to the hospital because my blood pressure had dropped to 65/30 something. When I got to the hospital, my heart rate was fine and so was my oxygen level. The Dr had no idea what was wrong. They sent me home and told me they didn't know how to treat me, and it took me 3 days to start feeling better. I have had test after test. The thing that bothers me is I have 2 daughters. My oldest cries at the drop of the hat and she is 8, very sensitive to movies also. My youngest she is 1 and I think she has nightmares just like I have all my life. My mom said I have had nightmares ever since I was a baby. I have been working with a psychic on a cold case and during one of her readings I had a weird feeling and was really sick to my stomach. She said I could have been picking up on the feelings of the missing girl during the reading. Any information will be very helpful. I would like to know for sure if I do have abilities and how to develope them and understand them more. Thank you for your time.

Any ability of the psychic nature deserves your attention and training.  Take charge is the first step.  Then find a good teacher who will work with you to hone your own particular talents.  The more you know, the more you will also help and guide your children.  They deserve to know how to handle the psychic abilities.

If you don't even know if you have any psychic input, what are you doing working with someone on such a case?  Hone your own talents first, then spread to other activities.

Thank you for your advice. I should have made it more clearly. The cold case is 9 years old, I did not know the girl, but I have been helping authorities with information reguarding the case. I had contacted a psychic, and after working with me a while she was concerned why the case had impacted my life as it has.  I told her it had just always bothered me, and told her the feelings I would get for no reason, and how I am very emotional. To make it short she told me I was empath and possibly clarivoyant. Which I have always thought people felt the same as me and had dreams just like I did. That is why I was working with her on the case was to get some help and insite. Again Thank you

BEfore you put yourself in these situations do you protect yourself with anything? I use a number of things like surrounding myself with pink bubbles  or telling the "area" that I do not allow them to harm my body. This sounds stupid when I write it down but I use things like this all the time including asking my guides for protection. This might help. I had a similar problem until I started doing this.

To be honest, I just recently found out that I am Empath and clairvoyant. I have had this all my life, and thought it was normal. I had never heard of grounding or shielding until I found this site. I am just learning as I go, and trying to get as much information as I can. Thank you for your advise. If you know of anything else please let me know. Again thank you
