I'd like to ask about a kind of gift, if that's the right word, I have that's always been with me, but seems to have become stronger lately and I wondered if anyone else has the same?
I tend to feel other peoples emotions. Early this week, someone came to our house and I had to make a retreat to another room because I felt literally ill. At the time this happens, I always think it's me and then later I realise that it's the vibes I'm picking up. There was a tangle of bad emotions and suffering – I mean really bad. It can be very confusing.
I often avoid social situations because of the negative feelings that I pick up and my wife calls me a recluse.

It is often also referred to as Empathy... and can be very confusing if you don't know what it is or how to deal with it... Please read up on being an empath, I know that there is a lot of information on this forum and out on the web. Good luck to you!!

Protection and grounding at all times is imperative to the sensitivities.  They can be as simple or complicated as you choose to make them, for yourself.

Protective Bubble:  Visualize a bubble (similar to one blown from a child's soap bubble pipe complete with the rainbow patch - rainbows are such wonderful symbols of bridges, color, connection, communication, and are complete with a pot of gold (prosperity) at the end) completely around yourself.  See it as opaque - acknowledge it as a filter of negativity - from within and without.  All negativity is sent into the light in this way for resolution.

The following can also be visualized in a specific situation:  

Red:  any high emotion (anger, love,)
+ White:  (spirit peace)
= Pink:  Love

When anger comes your way, see it as an arrow.  As you turn it around to return it to source, transform it with the white light.  In that way you give any person considering negativity and harm something else to consider.

Its an important equation we can use at any time, in any situation.
