Hi I am new: What about when gut feelings are wrong?, Mysticism, reading, forums, Numerology, Sun Signs, Divination

I usually have "gut" feelings that I would wish I didn't ignore. But, the times I do I am always like....grrrrr why didn't I listen? Even if it seemed stupid or insignificant.

I am very confused though. Two and a half years ago I got the "feeling" that I was to marry a specific man. But, the past two years have been hell. My son and I were at one point homeless and we lost absolutely everything. I have since left the man because I found out he's been cheating and lying the entire relationship. I don't understand how my "feeling" could have been so wrong? Just wondering. Makes me doubt myself a great deal.

Unfortunately our gut feelings can in certain situations turn out to be wrong. Also when we ourselves or someone very close to us are involved, our abilities to accurately read the situation are often terribly off the mark. That is why psychic readers often consult other readers, as being too emotionally involved with the outcome of their reading for themselves, they are unable to read things objectively.

What only appeared as your gut feelings about this man before you became so involved with him was probably only the result of wishful thinking, rather than a true psychic impression as to his actual intentions towards you and your son, which was I feel to do everything possible to destroy what little self confidence you might still have had left.

I feel great empathy for what suffering he inflicted on you and your son. He cheated himself as well out of what could have otherwise been a beautiful relationship, if only he had grown up fast enough to realise just what he had to lose by his cruel behaviour. While I would not even wish what he put you through on my worst enemy (if I had one), you are now a much stronger person within yourself for having gone through this living hell (or you would not be here now).

Take these new strengths and whatever positive lessons you can learn from the experience, but please do not immediately interpret this as being evidence that under no circumstances can you ever hope to trust your gut feelings again. We are expected to use BOTH our logic (minds) and intuition (heart) when making important life decisions in a balanced manner.

Either by itself is simply not enough, especially when our emotions can so easily get out of control (including when we fall in love). Learning to more effectively listen to your gut feelings and sort out what is useful can require considerable practice, so do not be so hard on yourself that you will no longer listen to what your instincts appear to be telling you.

I have to concur with EOT, on this one, I too think that your 'gut' feeling with this guy was more feelings than 'gut' feeling... You can't always go with your gut feelings but when you get them always proceed with caution... they aren't always telling you not too but to be careful and avoid the pitfalls that will be waiting for you... anyways, good luck!!

Spirit realms concern themselves with the spirit only. Perhaps there was a purpose to the whole thing? I am not suggesting we are expected to suffer in life as tests - I am suggesting that sometimes it is more conducive to our own personal spirituality to look at the whole experience as containing something of a lesson we can use (even if it is to be more careful in our choices of people in our lives).

try not to for get that he is a man and not the saint you made him out to be .
Men are men dogs are dogs monkeies are monkeys if says he love you you he probably means it i would want proof nothing to unrealistic,
if he can manage to not affect you by doing so many dodgy actions that is a lot of wait to carry ,ok he could just be a selfish uncaring pig, does he seem sorry.you have to try and see past his selfish act of fulfiling his needs,i think you should go with your gut feelingss.did he make you happy before you found out he was human... must have cos you still seem in shock,every one deserves a second chance especialy you!!
