How do you discern a spirit that has positive intentions from a malicious one. When it comes to spirits i truly get nervous. There have been times when I would perform an obe and feel myself rising but in the end I would terminate the process because bluntly, fear of the unknown. The only thing that holds anybody back.

My first obe apparently invited something into my room. My naive 16 year old self thought it was an angel. There was another instance where I walked into a classroom and there was a spirit standing right in the middle of the classroom. To me it was the purple elephant in the room. I felt the moment that it realized that I sensed it and it came right in front of my desk and I then just ignored it.

-Is it all about the way it makes you feel?

When I first started in all this I was all about reading people and basically just putting my mind to the test. I never meditated or made any attempt to protect myself from outside energies. I would just hop on AOL and practice read people in the psychic chats. I would try any psychic ability just to see if I could do it or see if I had potential to do it.

Even though I received amazing results and had amazing experiences I had no idea what I was doing. I wish I would have found this site five years ago. I have never collectively met so many experienced individuals in one site. I've truly been alone in my psychic journey. I've attracted people with the same views and some experiences but no one that has that desire to further themselves along like I do.


Thought can manifest where you project it. The more focused and concentrated the thought is the more probability it will have to affect or interact with whatever the intention is.

-Is it possible to see spirits like you would see a person and interact with them as such? Not sure how to word this, can you touch them if you see them as such?

-When you raise your bodies vibration (higher,faster) you become more aware...like your seeing the world again for the first time, the air your smelled yesterday smells different, lights are brighter, your connected.

-Are we as human beings something more, are we equipped with divine powers to do divine things whether it be individual or collectively as one.

-Concerning the way we receive psychic information, we all receive it different right? Example, what worked for the psychic on tv may not work on me or you due to our life experiences and personality. Im talking interpretation wise.

-Visualization. Is it just picturing it in your minds eye or does adding feeling and intention aid in the desired outcome. Do you have to hold it in your minds eye or 'send it out'. I've had visions before due to immense focus and concentration where I literally saw an event take place but concerning a reading when you have pictures run through your head do you literally see it or do you feel-see it. Do clairvoyants feel-see? (feel what the image looks like).

-Im truly just looking for advice on how to progress myself. Is it really all about getting to know yourself (going within to go outward).

-Is there a divine self inside us. Its still you but different. The more you raise your vibrations the closer you become to your divine self.


Writing things like this down helps me immensely just to see and read it and think about it myself. Thank you very much for reading this.

Matt.... Well I am sooo not sure where to start with all the things that you have posted here.... So I will just ramble at you and hope that I catch it all... this might turn into a bit of a reading, I often can't seem to help myself.... I hope that this is okay... If I miss something let me know and I will try to address it.

As for seeing spirits, YES I have personally seen spirits who I thought were strange People in my house... VERY upsetting at first. As for touching them I do not think so... but I may be wrong.... never tried to... the energies that come off them usually keep me at a bit of a distance....

I think that there are people who 'get' information in similar ways, although the personal meanings of symbols and such are different... And there are many ways of 'getting' the information....  

I know that you have written a few things in between these but I am not sure what you are looking for on those topics... if you clarify I will be happy to address them....

clairvoyants: Well I think this yet again depends on the person... I know that sometimes I have seen things and sometimes I just get the sense of knowing, and other times I feel that it is right... (like gut feelings) It isn't always the same for me...  (I might just be weird...)

I think that the more comfortable you become with all the aspects of yourself the easier it is to be able to then turn what you know outward to help others.... By knowing that if you feel this way one day that you are more in tune with the spiritual world that you will pick up more, is much more helpful as you will be more likely to share what you get with who needs to hear it... instead of ignoring the feeling and just thinking that it is a passing thing... I know I used to put things off to my imagination a lot....

As for the divine self, I do not know that answer as of yet perhaps someone else can help you with it.

I think that you need to relax and know that knowledge will come when you are ready for it... don't push... you need to really be comfortable with this before you go out trying to save the world....

I'm glad to see that things are looking more clear for you. I read what you wrote. Honestly I wanted to write some reply with answers to your questions, but then I realized, if I did, it would assume I knew something. I don't. We are all here to answer the same questions you ask of yourself. I'm sure some people will share their experiences and have views on how they affected them, but none truly know the truth? We only know what we think we know and are allowed to know. Tred lightly. There are many distractions out there as you have already encountered. It's nice sometimes to figure out you can do things, but in the end, you need to ask yourself, for what better good will it all be? Always remember to look within your heart.
