The heart. When energy is channeled through the heart or exerted through the heart it becomes that much more intense/powerful. The heart, a separate brain? Willfully shifting your consciousness to your heart and thinking through your heart enables a different form of 'thinking'.

What are your thoughts on this.

My thoughts about it is this

Thinking with your heart is a saying when you let your inner feelings control your decision.
The heart itself is just a big muscle and have no thoughts of itself.

Everything is control by your "spirit" (Ego-> higher self) that use all the boddy's different parts to make you

Why involve the physical body on what is spirit work?  Focusing on the heart can put a lot of pressure on the physical body.

Chakra openings are located right next to all the major organ (and their effect is uncertain at this time).  It is called the endrocrin system and functions one to other.  

Using only one location will not get you involved body, mind, spirit.  To do attunement work with spirit realms, we need to be open to a flow through all our system.  No particular organ carries more information than another.

All psychic work begins with the use of all the senses we have in the material vibration and adding Intuition (from the gut) and I know (from the heart - it neither sees nor hears - it just knows).

I believe that God speaks to us through our heart, our spiritual heart, and that others can speak to us through our mind. It is for that reason why I believe we must learn how to shut the mind down, so that we may truly feel what our heart is speaking to us. I believe the heart knows and hears the truth, while the mind thinks it knows. When the heart and mind are in conflict, I believe that the mind is so powerful that it can mimic the heart, thus causing confusion. The mind is so afraid of being wrong, that it would do anything to convince you otherwise.

To me the heart is what connects all of us together. It is what should guide us. Know yourself Boom. You are being forced to ask yourself important questions.

I personally call the "heart" the emotional seat, for emotions are what we feel with.  What we sense with that causes us to feel the truth I consider to be more of our intuition.  Every culture has a different emotional seat.  The Hebrews used the Bowels.  Some places use the Kidneys.  Either way it's an emotional seat.  Some may just seem more comical to think of as the Seat than others.  The Heart is more Western, really.  Heart also seems to make more sense because we normally feel strong emotions grip our chests.  

Now, understanding the difference between the Mind and Brain is one of the longest-standing debates ever!  It's kind of fun to discuss, but I don't advise debating on it.  It's not worth it  

No matter what, I do prefer saying heart rather than constantly saying "Emotinal Seat."  I'm glued.
