Any way of psychically finding a long lost relative?

Although I've had readings done before, I don't know a lot about psychic readings. Is it possible to find out what happened to a long lost relative (whom I didn't know personally) through a reading?

Is there any way you could validate the information received if a psychic did try?  

Do you have an article from this relative on which someone could attune?

I have an old picture of him, not sure if there's anything else of his. As for validating, that wouldn't be possible considering he's been "lost" to us for a long time. I have no record of him and am lost in finding out anything about him. I'm trying to help a loved one solve a mystery that's plagued her and her brothers since they were children. I just have reached a block and can't move further with the 'investigation'...  That's why I wondered if it were possible to learn where he's buried, or what happened to him without having known him myself.

Yes, I will have to get it from my grandmother and scan it. I will try sometime and see if someone would be able to get anything from it.  I'd really love to find out anything about this person I could. It's been a mystery to my family for going on 80 years.
