I must admit that the somewhat archaic term of "clear seeing" now seems rather outdated and strangely out of place in the early years of the 21st century. The modern definition (as you will soon see below) is much broader and now includes such things as remote viewing and impressions which are not actually of a visual nature. The originally clear cut borders which once existed between the different psychic senses (clairvoyance, clairaudience, clairsentience etc) are becoming much more difficult to locate as time goes by? This is probably because it is extremely rare for only one single psychic sense to be functioning at any time. They tend to increasingly overlap? A musical note played in the spirit world is said to be simultaneously experienced as one of thousands or possibly millions of vivid colours and hues, many of which will never be seen on the Earth plane.

| Clairvoyance - a noun from late 17th century French [clair (clear) & voyant (seeing)] - is defined as a form of extra-sensory perception whereas a person perceives distant objects, persons, or events, including perceiving an image hidden behind opaque objects and the detection of types of energy not normally perceptible to humans (i.e. radio waves). Typically, such perception is reported in visual terms, but may also include auditory impressions (sometimes called clairaudience) or kinesthetic impressions. |
