Perhaps they are just threatened in their own way with your energy. It may not be disrespectful at all...merely a feeling from you. If you are protecting yourself from any outside energies, you may be projecting something quite different to someone sensitive to these energies. Suggestions of clearing the air is not a bad idea at all.

People to this to me too lol, then when I get to know them better, and we become friends, they tell me, sometimes years later, that I scared them, that I came over as a really scary lady. They can't explain it but I have had it happen many times. Perhaps these 'psychics' realise you have great powers. Your aura would precede you here and I bet that is what they are reacting to. You need to learn more and tap into these undiscovered gifts

That, or they recognise that you won't accept fakes.....

Thank you guys for responding. I first thought that maybe that they could sense my psychic energy and that is why they were being distant. I'm glad i'm not the only one Gem, I've had people tell me after they knew me for awhile that when we first met I was "intimidating"! I swear I'm the sweetest person. I'm still going to try and sort it out when they come over next. I would hate for someone to not be able to approach me simply from a misunderstanding or bad vibe. Thank you all again!-fire_and_ashez
